New Job

Waitressing in a sports bar. I'm pretty excited. I know it's not the greatest job, and there will probably be some pitfalls due to lame and/or frisky customers, but for now I'm okay with that. If, say the movie theatre called and said, "Come work here," I don't think I'd turn them down. There's tip potential at the bar... woo hoo.

Even though...

Time to Beg, Borrow and Steal

Just got back from my cousultation at the veterinarian's office. YIKES eeek! I first went to ask about special foods that can reduce crystals in a cat's urine (this was our best guess as to what's causing the problems). Well, apparently, there are a few different kinds of crystals, and - of course - a few different foods that...

Serious Cat Problems

I'm having crazy problems with my cat, Emmy. She's six years old, spayed, outdoors for her "business", but otherwise indoors, I've had her since she was about 8 or 9 weeks old. Not the friendliest cat... but we get along. She's kind of like a room-mate that likes her privacy. Emmy's never been sick or had any problems that needed medical attention....

My dog, even though she took medicine, still had seizures. The meds just reduced how many times she had them. I hope you can get something worked out for her.
analogpussy:
I also had a dog that was epileptic and she was a large dog but due to some of the more dangerous areas of the house *like the garage with it's millions of parts for things precariously placed everywhere* we had to monitor her closely and really restrict her access to certain areas.

She was also allergic to wheat which for her would double the chance she would have a fit if she was eating things that had a lot of wheat in them. I know also some dogs *not sure on cats but something to ask about* can have fits due to loud sounds it can make them seize or become aggressive when they are normally docile so maybe something to ask about.

Hope this helps a little, I know what it's like to worry about your loved ones *pets* I currently have 8 cats at the moment tongue and two dogs back at the rents with 3 more cats there our family seems to collect animals but with all the animals we have had we have seen a lot of things that can happen, cancer, cars, or rare disorders that can blind and deafen or the rarest the one that cause one of our dogs red blood cells to be killed by her white. The only thing you can do is be there for them and love them, can't change how life works.

Hmmm

Believe it or not, I can't think of anything to say.... me. Craziness. Let's see, huh... nuthin. Oh, wait, something's coming to me now. I'm thinking of actually getting a job. A real job that pays money. Anybody who knows me, probably knows I do a bit of volunteer stuff, but the time has come to venture out and get working.

Not that...

It's snowing again. I never thought I'd get tired of snow, but here we are.

I'm bored, but busy. Trying to allocate grants for the animal rescue (shameless plug: Oops-A-Dazy Animal Rescue and Sanctuary) because I'm now the Charity Fundraising Secretary (I so wish that there was a spell-checker here). Yay. It's super fufilling, but I find it hard to make time for -...

I loaned her money when she needed some to pay her insurance. At the time she went to her ex-fiance and he was going to hold it over her head. She could not go to her father because he would be angry that she didnt have the money and he would not trust her anymore.

So she turned to me. Of course I gave in and loaned her the money without condition. She promised to pay me back and all. She did pay me back and told me never to contact her again.

By the way you look really hot in the picture with the pink hair.

Where'd She Go?

I've been away for almost a month now, and I've probably only been active on SG for just a few of those days frown Holy withdrawl, Batman! I've been having lots of fun though. The best part? Hanging with my family is definately fun, I've missed them all a lot since moving far far away. Seeing real trees, moss and water - streams,...

Jamer Tattoos

If you're in or around the Victoria, BC area - give my friend Jamer a call. He's just opening up a new studio in Chinatown. This guy is freaking amazing. He's also a blast to just hang out with smile We hung out in a pub the other night, had some rootbeer floats, listened to a band do a fairly decent rendition of Billie...

Spoiled

I'm officially spoiled. I am typing on a family member's wireless notebook.... omg, I'm in love with this thing. I'm used to dial-up, on an older comp.

Today was a great day, I had a big breakfast - all fruit, kiwis, oranges, apples, and some bananas (am I lame because I needed to sing that Gwen Stefani song to remember how to spell that...

Made It

I've made it to my hometown. It's good to be back. The day I arrived we were hit with a pretty decent winter storm though, so I haven't done any sight-seeing or much visiting. The roads are freaking dangerous... all those hills, covered in ice.

My grandparents treated me to fish and chips on my first night back, which was awesome - something...

Definately time for an update. I was actually pretty surprised that that silly Teletubbies post got comments, lol.

So I'm flying away tomorrow. I'll be gone for a month, but fear not, I will have access to SG from my little brother's computer - mwah ha ha ha ha (yah, like there's not a ton of porn on there anyway). I may not be online...

Teletubbies

Okay, I'll admit it - I was one of those teenagers who watched "Teletubbies" recreationally. Po was my favourite (the little red one), but I had a special affinity for La-La, because that's what my brother used to call me before he could pronounce my real name. Kind of a funny aside, because for those of you who know my real name, it's a...

The precision of that drill team is amazing isnt it? For some reason I really like that kind of stuff. But when I see stuff like that I am shocked at the precision that some people hone themselves to.

It reminds me of when I went to Washington DC and saw the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
