Hmm...
Since my last post I have:

-Moved into an awesome new house
-Had a birthday
-Gone to Toronto and Montreal
-Got some more ink
-Done a bunch of other interesting stuff.

Slick and sexy blue Bianchi my dear, I'll keep an eye out for it on the street and leave it a love note if I see it. Mine is a little bit less attractive than yours but rides like a fucking dream as well. I've been everywhere on it these last few days and I'm so sore! 'Cos it's a fixed gear it's much much lighter but there's also no ability to coast or change gears for hills, etc. I'm really enjoying it though.

Eeeee! I'm buying a beautiful old bicycle today! She needs a few hours of love before she's rideable, but I'm going to get some instruction from the people at the bike co-op.

If anyone has any tips on restoring old bikes I'd love to hear them.

I usually grow tomatoes at home, but I'm not sure I will this year. I go crazy and buy too many plants and then they don't have enough room!

Oh! How is your new/old bicycle? I've done a bit of work on my old Free Spirit, and I'm learning lots more. If you want to have a bike love date at any point I'm up for it!

Also, hopefully there'll be another Bicycle Bee soon. They hold classes and whatnot for all sorts of useful skills, like checking and changing your brakes. Woo.

Hey you. You're missed like crazy around here. The rescue received 50 cats and kittens last weekend - all from one house!!! Eeeeyuck. We might be taking in one of the pregnant momma cats, there are just so many! Poor little dears. Hope you're well.

Well, usually for the oatmeal I just put a little bit of hot water in with some quick oats in a bowl as I'm putting everything else in the smoothie and then I dump the oatmeal in last so it's had a bit of a chance to soften up. It adds a really nice bit of warmth (no brain freeze, yeah!) and some grittiness and creaminess to the smoothie.

What coffee place on the Drive do you mean?

Breakfast - try Cafe Deux Soleil on the Drive - they've got a fantastic tofu scramble and I go there every time I can convince someone else to come with me!

Earplugs at concerts are a rrreeeally good idea. I've had many times when I wish I'd remembered to do so!

It is so very rainy today! We've been sitting around eating chips and watching the IT Crowd. Terribly exciting day in the big city...

Guess why I am so in shape? Because of the mega epic hills. Ha! It takes some real dedication to grind my way to work every day on my bike... though I admit I get lazy sometimes and take the bus. I can't help it, it's grueling - where in town do you live?

This summer is going to be incredible, and I love going to the beach, so you're welcome to accompany sometime if you're interested. Well, let me know if you'd like to hang out sometime. Hopefully, soon as the weather gets a bit better, myself and a good crew will be drinking wine at "The Ribs" every Tuesday like we did last year!
