Made It

I've made it to my hometown. It's good to be back. The day I arrived we were hit with a pretty decent winter storm though, so I haven't done any sight-seeing or much visiting. The roads are freaking dangerous... all those hills, covered in ice.

My grandparents treated me to fish and chips on my first night back, which was awesome - something I really miss about living on an island I saw my grandparents again yesterday when I took my gramma to the store. And I have seen one of my sisters too. She's three, and absolutely awesome.

My mom's surgery went really well, much better than they hoped, actually. She's a trooper. I got puked on just once. She's doing a lot of resting, which is great for her, but I'm a little lonely. Like I mentioned above, I can't really go anywhere because of the snow. I really want to go down to the ocean. I think that's what I miss the most about living so far inland.

So, yah, that's my story. Not much has happened so far. I promise I'll write more once I do something interesting. Take care everyone
