Haven't seen it, mandinga. I can't give you any kind of feedback whatsoever. Maybe some of the Lou Reed Metal Machine Music kind, but that's it really. My overall knowledge of Pavement and Malkmus is pretty elementary at best. They seem pretty groovy, though. Sorry I didn't respond earlier.
One of the problems with me watching DVDs is-- I have to listen to every drop of commentary... which means I've been watching all these rentals twice in a row, at least.

I aint really feeling Tim Burton lately. Maybe I'm just sick of remakes and the position of "playing it safe" in any setting. I'm seriously debating on getting rid of my DVD, VHS, and the units that play them. Movies aren't doing anything for me. I just don't have the desire to WATCH any movie. The EP I got is mainly songs they recorded for "Summer Sun" but couldn't fit on the album. Basically all the rockin' tracks that wouldn't have fit the mood. Plus an acoustic version of "Cherry Chapstick" they played on an Australian radio show. Good stuff.
The only Stephen Merritt stuff I have is the complete 69 Love Songs... I keep meaning to pick up earlier Magnetic Fields releases or the first Sixths album.

I RAN to the den, which is our only digital cable hooked up TV, and turned on the Nickelodeon "Noggin" channel to see if the Degrassi marathon had started. It hadn't. Some crap called Gullah Gullah Island was on. I re-bruised my coccyx because the floor was wet and I skidded and fell on my ass. My tailbone, more specifically, or coccyx. Degrassi doesn't start 'til 6. They say they're playing every Degrassi episode ever, but that's not true because they're only playing "The Next Generation" eps. True, they've got Spike and Snake and Joey, but it ain't The Kids of Degrassi St., and it ain't Degrassi Junior High.

Did you know that Freddie Mercury and his boyfriend used to buy each other koi for birthdays and other significant (to them) events? A guy that was employed to change the water in their pool managed to forget to plug the filter back in when he finished working with them sometime last year and he killed almost 500,000 worth of fish!

I think I'll have whiskey for the weekend instead of lager, or the bottle of Zubrowka vodka (it's Boris Yeltsin's favourite brand) that just arrived from France...
