I can't believe I've only got about a day and half left here in San Francisco! i'm assuming that's "dragon's back" on the right and the comm school on the left as you guys are stepping off in yr 2nd photo...yr on the PFT course? it's been a while, i could be wrong.
I was an 03xx as well...of course things were a little less fucked up in the world than they are now, and i feel blessed for that while i was in the Fleet. Take care, Good luck & Semper Fi.

we did watch easy rider the other night, in respect. man, the 'making of...' shit with hopper and fonda and jack nicholson talking about how crazy the actual filming was incredible. you must see this...like all the hateful redneck assholes were not actors but real, barely-contained locals. and of course, ALL the weed they smoked was real.
