I am in San Francisco! 
long fitful busride, but much quieter than I am used to. no methed crazies or petulant children that I noticed. fitful packets of sleep, very often inturrupted. but now I have had a nap and a shower and I am about to loose up on out of the hostel and into the city.
update: first night out went great. finally some good food and company that doesn't communicate in acronyms or by grunting.
and guess who wandered into a used bookstore today. oh my
FURTHJER UPDATE: mmmmmm yellow curry is great! and boy did I drink a bit of whiskey. thanks to everybody who made it out in SF tonight. I'm defintily gonna remember this one....well....maybe....

and in the lastet news..in a fit of consumerism, I spent $500 on a new digital camera and accessories.
guess I HAVE to take some good pictures now, huh?

as far as the rest of my life, things are so wackily different, I'm not even sure how I'm doing. Between moving and working I haven't had a chance to figure it out. This is completely fine with me. I needed something to keep me occupied like all this.
