Last week I placed a post where I ask people to challenge me into cooking new stuff. Today, I made this. This is meatloaf. Stuffed with a boiled egg. The veggies are pan fried potatoes and green beans with bacon and snippets of onion, shallot, and garlic sautéed in maple butter. The glaze on the meatloaf is a savoury ketchup sauce.
My masterchef adventure seems to be going well; I've yet to completely fuck up any of my recipes, although my orange ice cream came close. So now I'd like to ask my army of followers for suggestions on what to cook or bake! Nothing is too crazy.
Laat week I asked @rambo for a suggestion for my cooking blog and she asked for a lasagna. I opted to make a very traditional lasagna bolognese with mince, chicken liver, porkbelly, and lots of vegetably goodness. It came out divine after bringing it to taste with some sugar, salt, and pepper, and the mandatory herbs of thyme, oregano, parsley, and basil.

So today I decided to roll back in the habit of meat free weekdays and make myself a burger! The burger itself is chickpea and pumpkin, topped with sour onions, sweet parsnips, and earthy lettuce. The chips are parsnips, covered with lemon zest. Yum!
