don't let your meat-loaf ;')

Life has been busy . I've finally gotten back to working out. I hated the way my body felt until I did. Everything was too soft, but I can feel the burn now and it makes me smile.

I'm trying hard to take better quality pictures of my food on a regular basis to use on the restaurant's Facebook and Instagram. I'm...

I've so enjoyed reading everyone's blogs about their favorite aspects of their jobs ! Mine, I'm afraid is fairly obvious....haha . I love that I get to eat !!! Whatever I want, all the time.

I've had other restaurant jobs where I could only eat at specified times, or if I paid for my food....but since I'm at my family restaurant...

Maggie is no longer with us. We had to make the difficult decision to let her go this weekend. She was almost eleven. A week ago she quit wagging her tail. And she was unable to walk the last few days. She had been diagnosed as diabetic around two years ago and she'd been blind that whole time.

She was a sweetie who never

Mmmm delish!  I made pancakes earlier this week.  GF Bisquik mix with mashed overripe banana, roasted cinnamon, pumpkin pie seasoning, vanilla extract and honey added.  And of course real maple syrup drizzled on top. :-) The lil man ended up eating a couple for dinner even though I'd made them for quick and easy reheatable breakfasts for him lol.

I think it's fairly obvious....I adore Wolverine. I have most of the comics in original form, or reprinted in compilations.

What do I love about Wolvie?? Well....pain does crazy things to people. It changes them....it makes them mean, hateful....and the thing you need to remember about wolverine? While he may be able to heal from anything(when his healing factor...

Damn straight, great blog.

You are the best there is at what you do!  I've always been more a Marvel then DC fan and more a "physically" powered character.  My fave has always been and prolly always will be Wolverine.  I agree with what you mentioned, about pain and what it does to people.  And it speaks volumes that even though Logan's life has been nothing but pain - whether physical or mental/emotional - he still is a good guy fighting the good fight even to his death.  I'll admit there had been a coupla hurdles over the years that made me irate with his writers.....bone claws?  Revealing his "true" name?  And the retcons that both those things entailed.  But underneath the character himself has always been the same gruff yet endearing Canuk we all know and love.  And I think the movies - barring most of X-Men Origins: Wolverine lol - have paid the greatest of tributes to him.  Ok I'll get off my soap box, I could go on and on about comics in genera and Wolvie in particular lol.  I'll just add that given the likes of Silver Fox, Jean, Mariko and the other leading ladies in his life you m'dear would definitely be at the top of the list. ;-)
