some wierdness going down...
the trip home was kind of surreal. family issues galore! my dad is getting married. i call her my stepmom already because they've been together 13 years and living together for 9. i'm not old enough to really understand spending that much time with someone. i had an absolutely lovely time with my mum, though. it was nice to see my little brother. he got thrown in the drunk tank on sunday afternoon and my mum had to go get him out. i'm kind of proud of him.
when i was home, i found out that my stepmom knows someone who is on the site and that is how they get all the information about me. my dad knew about my new tattoo. he was also under the impression that i use this journal to constantly complain about broke i am (whether i am or not is beside the point). whoever it is, you have no right to meddle. it's obtrusive and rude, but i am sure you already know that.
my nerves are jangling tonight like a skeleton charm bracelet. i got in an argument with a man on the train tonight! his lit cigarette was dangling in front of my face so i told him it was annoying and rude and he yelled back but put his cigarette out and told me how the flames are now in the playoffs and he had a wierd turn of events leading to his bad mood. he apologised profusely. then some guy whistled at me. i yelled at him to shut up. i'm so combative sometimes! i hardly feel at home in my skin tonight...
i'm so antsy waiting for replies from the universities i applied to in december. i'm getting nervous. i'm sure i got in somewhere. i am too smart not to have. the waiting is brutal, though! i feel like my plans are taking shape now, though, so that's nice.
tonight i really miss my girl friends: lavonne, malloreigh. weetzie and rosita (who is grey right now but i still lub lub dub dub}. at least when i am in vancouver i will be closer to 3 of them!
another positive thing: it is now spring. my mum and i saw a robin! the lack of snow and ice bodes well for my skateboarding plans. wonderful!!!!
and with that, i am off to shower and go to bed.
