Sometimes I find it hard to celebrate the good things in life when there's so much struggle and suffering elsewhere in the world. It's still important though. So tell me something good! What is most exciting and beautiful and fun in your life right now?

I am enjoying being home. It has been sunny and the house gets so warm, even if it

I am ever so slowly learning to accept that I am merely human, with all the absurdity and joy that entails. Very. Slowly.

OMG! Yeah, that's a good one @mountainrat

The last few days have been so magical and serendipitous and full of amazing surprises. It's hard to even explain. At one point it was raining and the sun came out, so I said we should go to the beach and look for rainbows. We'd just looked at a new house that was too perfect to believe, and I said if there's

I just realized it's been about 10 years since I submitted my first photos to SG. Crazy. I still only shot film back then.

Oh but what you did with film! Your self shot early sets are so beautifully done.
woodsman29:
Film is beautiful.  So are you!

If someone bruises your ego, allow it. Embrace it. Quietly observe your injured ego fade away, perhaps kicking and screaming, more and more each time. Let it go. Notice the space it left behind, not empty but full of oneness, truth, you.

My blogging can't seem to keep up with my life. Things change and evolve and die and transform so quickly. @dwam knows what I'm talking about. It's the Scorpio way, apparently, but it has accelerated.

I'm currently on yet another trip (for business so nothing too exciting) but managed to squeeze in some amazing times with friends anyway. I get to

My new home in the gulf islands is magical. I already feel like I want to live here for a long time. It's so wild and unspoiled here. The nights are very dark and very quiet. The stars are intensely visible. Eagles and whitetail deer roam everywhere. The weather is warm and fairly dry. It's more than I could have imagined.

I've

I haven't had much time to sit still and think and write. It's been all moving and doing and brief periods of exhausted spacing out/sleeping. I'm also experiencing some kind of crazy shift where the way things are in my head are changing as much as my external life. It's some trippy shit, guys. Here are some photos from Thailand.

If I were a poet, I would write a poem about your thumb. Haha. Looks like a nice trip. Yeah, it's kind of weird when you actually sense your internal software updating. You've got a solid CPU though so everything should be fine.

I've been in Vancouver for almost two months now. The pace of things has been crazy! I rarely have a day to myself to just rest or catch up on things. It's been good though. I have a ton of great friends here. I've taken lots of small trips, like to Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands recently. Lots of exciting things...

Things have really changed. I moved from Calgary to Vancouver last month, which I've dreamed about since high school but somehow was never the right choice at the time. I was born and raised nearby and it's always felt like home to me. I hope to stay past our 4 month lease and find another place, but things are never very certain when
