there are so many people I have to catch up with, and hopefully starting next week I will.

see, here's how this week is progressing:

1. I need to fill out some paperwork, get a referral for a Psychiatrist, sign up for health insurance from work, change my availability, and get ready for the final week of my Internship.... frown there are a bunch of people...

NICE! you'll have to let me know what songs you'll be jammin' to in the next few months. when i took guitar classes, they made me play "country roads" for my first song. hahaha...
miss_cellophane:
I know I definately have experience. Its of cource, not the same as a 40 year olds...currently my state govt has got tv adverts stating that "experience, its back!" in regards to older workers. So its a bit of a kick in the gitts....knowing that my govt is advertising for employers to hire older people right now. I think it is just another hurdle for me to get over. whatever Im apllying for alot of stuff. Anything at this point.

You know where your headed and you know what your next move is. I know you can do it kiss

thank you for the birthday wishes and kind words everyone. I promise to read over again what everyone wrote and personally respond. when I have the time.

time....always seems to be the enemy with me!

so here's what has progressed so far:

I talked with the person. she thinks I might have said the comment in jest or was misinterpreted. we're on good terms.

I...

thank you everyone for the words recently. I'm sitting here, tears in my eyes, as I've begun the process I need to. the idea of sitting here, thinking of something, and feeling. feeling the pain or hurt or sorrow or guilt or happiness or joy or sadness or any other emotion that goes with it. listening to that voice in my head, that idea of...

I was definately depressed through high school. In the last 6months iv really noticed the feeling of it returning....not sure how to act yet.

this just fucking sucks. today, my supervisor showed me an e-mail he received. he already had the conversation with the person. evidentially, last week, while he was meeting with someone, I was talking with her where I said that I'm afraid of Learning Disabled people and that I stay away from them. her quotes. I then went on to say how I was afraid of...

*huggs. Im was/ am a self harmer as well. When I was at high school...and Iv really been feeling the need to start again in the past 6 months, but havnt. Mainly because I think it would freak the bf out. I find exercise helps me alot.

I find it frustrating that self harmers have to get tats or whatever just becuse they are more accepted than cutting or whatever.

The bf gave me a 300Gig HD to back up with. Iv gotta pay him back when I have monies.

Quote from one of the counselors at my internship site today:

"I love e-mail. Just click a button and I can send things to everyone. I hate getting e-mail, though. If its that important, I would prefer that you pick up the phone and call me."

umm, okay? so I'm interpreting this person as saying that she loves being able to send stuff to everyone...

6 days to go.

not sure what to do. still gotta figure out how to access all those emotions and feelings I so nicely tied up and hid away.

paper to write, haven't read the book. oh this is going to suck!

I need sleep, so I'm going to bed now!

although bought a Garmin StreetPilot C330. f*ck getting lost while driving again!
bubblegumcupcake:
*huggs...good luck sweets! I hate not being prepared for essays. Its never easy. I need sleep tooooo.
heavenandhell:
A plastic bubble you say.......hey, great idea. She fell down the bottom half of the stairs this morning, a bubble would have helped. It would also keep the boys away too, liking this idea more and more.

Keep getting plenty of sleep.

sorry for the cryptic message a few days ago, I guess there are a few things about me to know that will help things make sense:

1. if I am talking about something in a cryptic or metaphoric way, it usually means it is something I really don't want to talk about and/or am too afraid to talk about. hence, the metaphors "block" enough out...

Being told to 'be strong' is something that I hope my generation will finally irradicate. For too many years, people have felt they had to do this because 'we don't want a fuss.' Now is the time to put our foot down and shout 'we have feelings and we're entitled to show them.' We are no longer in the Victorian era and need to pave the way for a more open future for us all.

Take care of yourself.

Oh, don't worry about my journals. as and when is fine.
cuntrebecca:
I think your experiences will make you a better counselor. I've been through a lot and I'm going into psychology hoping I can spare some people some pain or help them through things that I have been though, while taking their money, of course! I was the oldest of two children and I was ignored and shushed while my brother was their sunshine.

This is a good place to let it out. People here just care, like me. I don't feel as alone as I used to.

>sigh<

about 3 months left to figure out how to "crack the dam".

access the emotions I've managed to hide away.

I think I've become so good at building up walls and hiding I don't know how to take down the walls and be seen.

suggestions, anyone?

Why do you need to crack the damn dam? Maybe if I knew that and what was behind the wall, we could figure out a way to knock that bitch down!
heavenandhell:
If I remember rightly, they bulldozed the Berlin wall and that was pretty tough, so maybe you should try that.

Take care of yourself.

well, break is almost over, let's see, what have I done?

well, managed to over draw my account. found out that the PayPal payment I made was deducted twice. you see, the guy "refunded" the first one. well, that was sitting in my PayPal account. so I'm transferring it back. that way, I won't be overdrawn anymore. a few fees. yeah, it sucks.

bubblegumcupcake:
Yeah - I have a lap top with a usb connection for if I really need it - but its not too bad pasting the "a". I just use the short cut - Ctrl + V. Most of the time I get it.

I would love to start work later. The bf has to get up at 6am to get to work at 8am. I can manage this if I get to bed around 9pm. It leaves so little time to do even basic things like housecleaning and even relaxing. I guess it's a different way of living. confused

so, today, I'm sitting at my computer, playing a game and relaxing, when the doorbell rings.

"Who the hell is here?" I think (wondering, if, perhaps, its someone to read the meter)

I run down to open the door.

its Mormons. f*ck. how do I get rid of them?

I tell them I'm going to a Methodist college.

nope.

I tell them I'm a college...

I guess it was slightly less busy than usual. Hope you manage to relax a little too.

My son's classic was when he was about 3 and we were at the swimming baths. At the top of his voice in the changing rooms, he asked....."Why is my willy bigger than all the other boys". Mothers glared at me and all I could do was laugh. They need to get a life.

Take care.
