there are so many people I have to catch up with, and hopefully starting next week I will.
see, here's how this week is progressing:
1. I need to fill out some paperwork, get a referral for a Psychiatrist, sign up for health insurance from work, change my availability, and get ready for the final week of my Internship....
there are a bunch of people I'm going ot miss....but, since it could be described as my taking a blow torch to both sides of the candle AND one in the middle, you can guess why I'm at this point!
2. I will have to go in front of APEC (Academic and Professional Evaluation Committee) regarding everything. my supervisor at my Internship has stated that he is willing (and would prefer) to speak on my behalf to the committee. initially, he was planning on writing a statement, but as he put it, "things can be taken out of context and this allows them to ask questions and get things clarified."
3. I have never played a musical instrument, but I have an acoustic bass guitar (nothing spectacular, but something to start with) coming in the mail. it should be here by Wednesday. always wanted to play bass, time to start!
4. I have a project that I have no clue about. basically its a 12-15 research paper on something in the area of Spirituality and Psychology. suggestions, anyone?
5. and I'm still bummed about how things have transcribed. I've worked hard for so many years, but still I've been held back. perhaps I do have depression. or something. I'm not really sure. but a few months to sort and figure things out will be good. my hope is to be done with all this crap by mid-August (can't guarantee it) and be able to successfully complete my Internship. work with some kids, really shine and show what I can do. build up my confidence. and then be done with all this crap!
so yeah, that's about it. it still sucks in a lot of ways. I'm far from happy regarding all of this. but, well, given the choices I have (fail or do this), I'm pretty much locked.
and that's about it. by the end of this week, I'll have withdrawn from my Internship. when I do this, I get a withdrawal. at the end of the semester, the professor has said she's giving me a "pass". so I'll have a "withdrawal pass". joys.
and how is everyone else? I'll be going through my blogs in the past few weeks, to respond to what everyone wrote! thanks everyone for the words you have left!
