well, did my presentation today...here's feedback I got:

"Good point about David being the aggressor here. Some people would have been caught up in the cult stuff and missed that!"-the professor

"Great presentation. You did a great job and are comfortable up there speaking!"-hottie of a classmate

"You did a great job presenting today. You know, I could spend all day listening to you talk!"-the...

well, my week of insane amounts of work is pretty much done.

this past week, I was able to do the following:

write an 8 page paper
write an 11/12 page paper
create and print out a poster
work 30+ hours
have some girl pass out in class while giving a presentation
read a book
attend a counseling session
attend an "end of the year"...

wow, i can't believe that i actually know someone who very well may work more than I do... eeek

sometimes i wonder if it's an addiction...
or maybe when I start to have too much spare time and fun, I start to feelguilty... like i'm not deserving of it, so I begin the cycle of the worka holic all over again... haw about you?

well, most of my papers are now done. and things are changing around with classes, making things very interesting.

so the 8 to 10 page paper stopped fighting me. its about 10 pages. very interesting for me to write as well!

my reflection paper (5 to 10 pages) is now a part of my final and due May 10th. or I can write it as...

that's on ehell of a way to give a presentation.

my partner for mine showed up at the last minute and stood up at the front of the class while I gave the entire presentation. since I did all the work, I didn't let her get a word in edgewise, and she stood there looking like an idiot and clearing her throat every other minute trying to get me to let her talk. it was really fucking funny, I wish that I had it on video.
sophronia:
actually, turns out both our grades suffered...
but, it was worth it just to make her look like a buffoon wink

well, I'm done with Character Education and my poster design is DONE!

however, the 8 to 10 page paper due on Thursday is fighting me something fierce! it sucks!

plus got some ideas on how to do the powerpoint for next week by what my classmates did this past week. found out that most of the examples are real life experiences of the professor....nice!

well, survived another family gathering. mostly because I worked today. it was slow and boring. just how I like it. not a lot of people to deal with (although, for some odd reason, they ask ME where something is while I'm carrying a broom and dustpan....you'd think that would be a sign that I'm not someone who works in the department or something, right?).

sorry about those knees of yours!
hope they are better by now- don't underestimate the power of ice, if they are still inflammed!

NY has pretty strict educational requirements for licensing, so you can bet that any licensed therapist AT LEAST is properly trained...

whetheror not they are any good...well... that's a different story

so there's 20 minutes left in my shift today, when Amanda (co-worker) and I see a cop pull someone over in the parking lot (the far back corner). except the individual gets out of his car.

interesting.

then we see another car. and another car. they're closing off a part of the lot. hey, there's a K-9 unit!

now its got my attention!

we walk...

well, having fun doing all my work and working at Wegmans. today, I was called in for 5 1/2 hours. and tomorrow I was asked to work 8 1/2 hours instead of 5 1/2 hours. putting me over 30 hours for the week. all because one of the people at the store injured his ankle. works for me!

also writing my papers and doing my...

well, the break is here. Sunday was the day of sorely needing sleep. I made the mistake of doing laundry and playing Halo Saturday night. needless to say, I got to sleep around midnight. which in itself doesn't sound bad. except I had to wake up the next day to work at 7:30 AM (and its a 20 minute drive or so to work!). so...

My Dad had me when he was fifty years old... I'm his firstborn (and only) child... you have plenty of time! he even got a hot younger lady to marry him (my mom)... be patient!

I don't have many friends either... I have some acquantances that don't count as friends, theres always several randoms trying to get down my pants, and my only two female friends are both over fifty and single... Hmmmm. I think I became a work a holic to fill this void... but, now that I've met people that I would like to get to know better, I don';t have any free time to do so. Oh well...

well, the presentation I had last Wednesday, lets just say, the professor has e-mailed myself and my 2 group members to congratulate us on our presentation and ask our permission to use our lesson plan as an example of what to do for future classes. so that's good news I think!

as for my counseling session last week, not as good as I thought it was....

well, as I watched my video from the last counseling session I had with my client, and I think I did extremely well. I went in with the attitude "screw the techniques, be myself and make them work for me!" and I think it helped! I had a few times that I might have missed something, but to me, for the most part, I think...

i do like fritz! just mis-directed my angst at writing the paper at him...
Gestalt is so interesting, and I do love the incorporation of body awareness! I'll have to keep an eye out for those tapes you told me about.

hey, dont get involved with girls at your work, but going for younger is better, you just have to learn to be confadent in yourself. I do know that most younger women do look up to older men, I am just now kind of starting to get to enjoy this.
