well, as I watched my video from the last counseling session I had with my client, and I think I did extremely well. I went in with the attitude "screw the techniques, be myself and make them work for me!" and I think it helped! I had a few times that I might have missed something, but to me, for the most part, I think things went well and I really pushed the client to do things! so that's good.
also figured out a way to pay my bills through August without having to get another job...yay me! I just hope I stay with 28 to 30 hours a week at my job. if that's the case, I'm going to be doing quite well!
add to all of that, I got lots of sleep last night. almost 12 hours! sure, woke up and my back was unbelievably stiff. but it was worth it!
now all I have to do is get ready for my group presentation on Wednesday. thankfully, my group members have the same view as myself....the Powerpoint is there as a memory aid and to focus. however, you don't read verbatim what is on the slide. unlike classmates of mine (yeah, its annoying....
). we're also planning on involving the class in an activity, so that should help us with the grades as well!
now all I'm waiting for is a contact to see a counselor myself. when you find yourself "stuck" on something (IE, driving home, I'll be thinking through everything related to my uncle's suicide in December '04), its time to talk to someone about it. and unfortunately, well, the only ones in my family I can talk to (those I trust and will listen and help) are my cousin (uncle's son) and his wife....and they're dealing with it themselves. so screw it, I pay for it, I best use it to help myself out when I need it. if things go well there, well, there is quite a bit for me to work on, so I shall see where it goes.
hmm, and that's about it. still single. still hating it. have a runner/manager I chat with at work. then found out she's 21 (I'm 30). and from what I hear, there just might be a chance she's dating. DAMN! well, as I've said before, I'm pretty much ready to give up on that dating thing. when you have 100% rejection and get asked out by someone maybe once every 6 years, why bother, right?
sorry, I digress, I'm done now.
and thankfully, from the sounds of it, Olivia is simply taking time off. this site just wouldn't be the same without her....that's for sure!
well, 'night all!

i do like fritz! just mis-directed my angst at writing the paper at him...
Gestalt is so interesting, and I do love the incorporation of body awareness! I'll have to keep an eye out for those tapes you told me about.
