I allowed myself to sleep in today. It felt sooooo goooood.

I've been baking cookies for my housemates and reading all day. It's too cold to do much else, but I may bundle up and walk to the corner store later.

This is the last day of spring break, and I'm kind of happy. It's nice to have a vacation, but I do miss going...

Beautiful place.

Well, Aaron called at 7:00 and then picked me up. The plan was to get his new table from Art Van, but they didn't have it in yet. So, we went to Best Buy to get him a microwave and then had dinner at a cheap Mexican place and talked about my adoption and his view on charity and children.

I realized then that we...

I've had a good weekend so far.

My friend, Lydia, called me last night to ask if I wanted to go to 80's night with her and Scott. It ended up being me, Lydia, Scott, Aaron (the boy who gave me his number), and Betsy. We had a pretty good time, but the music sucked. They played bad re-mixes of some 80's and 90's stuff,...

I went to an 80's night last night... I got too drunk - it was horrible as I'd not eaten all day and I ended up being completely intoxicated. Men around here hate it when someone is drunk and trying to have fun, they just wanna fight. Its' not good.

Tonight was fun - 70's style disco. I can't believe I went out two nights in a row though. Oh well. It was my friend's birthday. Good times.

I'm rambling.

It's good to see you've made a new friend - they're always good. I love talking to new people, especially when oyu get on well. smile

Sorry if the previous journal comment was jarring. I had to call the Patent Office several times a week in a past job, and they are...darned annoying.
Lucille's cool. I like Kikka; she's so European, right down to liking Motorhead!

Well that was fun.

I just spent three hours sobbing uncontrollably. It was like a floodgate had opened -- everything from the past 2-3 weeks just exploded all over. My housemate, Chris, heard me and came into my room and just held me and rocked me and refused to let me stop crying. I kept shoving him away and apologizing, and he kept grabbing me...

Had you tried calling the tax office to see if it has been sent? I've had to call both IRS and state tax offices for work, for my library to get forms, and this will surprise you but they weren't dicks. They were helpful...as opposed to those fucking cunts at the Govt Printing Office and Patent and Trademark Office.

edit 3/7/03-- Nobody will ever see this ps, but I just wanted to make my language more gentle from the above post. Instead of "fucking cunts" I'd like to refer to the Patent and GPO workers as "darned cunts". I don't wanna seem rude. That is all.

I think I have a date Saturday.

I say "think" because I don't know what the intent is. We exchanged numbers last night because he's new to town and needs friends. I'm cool with that.

So he called me today and asked if I wanted to help him shop for a table on Saturday and then move said table to his apartment. I said that...

To quote you "he's new to town and needs friends". Don't be too hasty in guessing his intentions. Just go with it as you say... smile

I met a really cool boy tonight and got his phone number.

I'm SCARED to DEATH of a relationship, but he'll make a cool new friend. We'll see how it turns out. If anything, I might get a pet out of the deal. :wicked grin:

Relationships, no thanks. They're too much, well they are for me right now.

Take it with a pinch of salt, make sure you're both reading off the same page and just see what happens. As long as you both want the same thing and nobody changes their mind either way, things will be ok.

biggrin

As for the devil - we need to be able to add pictures in our journals. But I'm too scared to ask O.

See that mask I'm wearing?

It helped, but not quite enough. I've been hacking and wheezing all day, and if I don't take it easy, I'm going to end up with a full-blown cold. Blecch.

Flashbacks of cheap horror flicks - oh no - all you need is a hockey stick and a menacing laugh and I'm running home!

See...told you I got to be destructive all day. smile

The first step was to rip off the paneling. The next step (and most fun) was to SMASH SMASH SMASH the plaster off with a hammer. Chunks were flying everywhere, along with dust, which is why you see me in a hat, safety glasses, and a mask. Next came the tiny slats of wood, which I...
