Let's see. The past few years in review.

I was here for a bit at the end of 2008. Hunh. I barely remember that. I was dealing with the fallout of a horri-bad breakup, so that might explain it. I lost a ton of weight 'cause I was walking 2-3 hours per night to keep the stress at bay.

I'm figuring that the brain, as a massively parrallel system, has many layers of input and output filtering and buffering to help us make complex decisions. When immediate reactions are required, some of the slower ones get cut out of the loop.

That's how the felling makes sense, anyway.
