i'm assuming that's "dragon's back" on the right and the comm school on the left as you guys are stepping off in yr 2nd photo...yr on the PFT course? it's been a while, i could be wrong.

our unsuspecting marine didn't realize just how much he'd be charged for using his cellphone as a modem...it amounted to about $100 a week...so his entries will be short like that one up there. if you know his cell number, call him sometime. he also text messages
if you want me to get your number to him, that can probably be arranged. i can't promise the reverse though. he calls a few times each weekend, on average.
i won't log into the volkov account until he's gone, so as long as you don't see me announcing myself in his journal, that means he might still be around these parts. of course, if we knew exactly when, he'd have to kill us all.
