Sometimes I'll tune in to oldies to relax and wonder; what happened to music? I don't mean to sound like a bloody hippie but what happened to pop music? Most oldies were popular during their heyday and you can't deny that, aside from any nostalgic value they might have, most of them are pleasing to the ear. In fact most of them are about something...

Well, today I was roaming the boards when I came across a good thread.. worst movie you've ever seen. Behold
the creator of that thread's entry:
Captain_Hungry wrote: I think the films David Lynch has done are garbage. People say, "you didn't understand what he was saying..." He was saying, "How many ways can i think of to completely piss people off with film." If...

I really should put puffy amiyumi under "vices"
I would say that they are a perfectly post modern band, in that they take a bunch of signature styles and make a new song out of them. Like "the Matrix".
However, I don't think they (ami and yumi) thought of it. and for that I am sad. but "planet Tokyo" is a really fun stupid song. And I like japanese girls singing in english, it's cute.
My friend had a longboard and she and I would sit on it together and ride past a shopping center ,down a hill near our house, screaming and laughing our asses off. Silly, but really fucking fun.

The expression The road to hell is paved with good intentions always made me somewhat uncomfortable. It's only been as of late, when faced with the realization that I myself often am that good intention, have I understood why that is.
If someone wants to do something, they will do it. Usually as simple as that.

For the record: smoked my last joint, for a long ass time, tonight.

Some things are so immensely beautiful that to even attempt to describe them is to undermine both them and yourself. There's a flipside to that coin, however. Every now and again I come across someone or something that is so vile, wretched, and repugnant that there's no need to even utter a word. As though any singular comment would only detract from the overwhelming rank...

So I didn't meet Wesley Snipes
I got over that real fast though and got on with my drinking once the realization had set in. Managed to steal some beer and wine, fended off some of my friend's mom's gay friends, and ultimately, flirted it up with my gf's older sister, who is looking stellar. Note to self: When someone you're flirting with tells you...

I woke today feeling tired. My fatigue quickly turned into boredom which in turn gave way to a feeling of general sickness. Now I lounge around, reflecting on Saddam caught, trying to motivate myself to go to the gym. What court, if not international, will America try Saddam in? In some puppet court set up in Iraq is where! So, it boils down to the...

my life isn't any worse than it was before dubya came into office. in fact, i got enough grants (aka free money) to pay for all of my college, courtesy of the government.
i definately agree the economy has turned to shite, but that's happened before...too many damn times!!! *puts on her gold, capitalist belt and prances around
don't think that i'm bush's biggest fan. i DEFINATLEYYYYYYYYYY won't be voting for him in the next election. however, i can not compare what he's done to our economy to sadaam having sex with those donkeys in tiajuana, mexico. uhm.......not that i watch donkey sex shows in mexico.

OK worth mentioning: Tonight I watch the Simpson's at a gf's house... her mother, who aside from once owning the Amsterdam Caffe, also owns the AAA Seed Co., is throwing a dinner party at which will be, none other than Passenger 57 himself, Wesley Snipes!!! Woot! Woot! OK maybe to yuo that's nothing special but White Men Can't Jump and Blade are two good reasons for me to be excited. I can't wait to smoke with him! I hope he finds the humor in my telling him how big of a fan of Passenger 57 I was. Either that or telling him I loved him Coming To America, hehe.
I'm in such a rut. I need to do something with my next 3 weeks which will get it all out of my system before I go back to school in Jan. Sleeping late and veging out isn't nearly as gratifying as it once was. So many things to do that I've dogged for days and weeks now. I have been able to justify my...

Well, I am skipping the SG meet to go up to Mt. Cypress and pull donuts in the parking lot with some friends. I don't know where this idea came from but I have been dying to have a snowball fight, and since my gf bailed on me
, I don't care what I end up doing. It's a shame that I'm not more adventurous as I would have liked to have gone to the SG meet but, frankly, I'm sure all the cute Suicide Girls will end up sitting at one table, leaving me with a bunch of bandless drummers to make conversation with. Well maybe that's not a fair assesment and is more of a cop out but, none the less, I am going to go hang out on top of a mountain and drink imported Danish blackcurrant vodka because I'm too unenergetic to show up and yap with strangers, with whom I share nothing in common but a website. I already regret it but, to make up my mind, I decided to go on SG and check who would be coming to the Vancouver meet, under the condition that if I found so much as a single person I knew from the boards or chatroom then I would go. unfortunately I found no one and, rather, noticed myself to be the youngest of those who would be attending. Anyways, it only took the suggestion of a snowball fight followed by the realization I could go tobogananing/sledding, once up there, for me to quickly change my mind and make plans to visit the mountain. I blame my gf for not coming through and keeping me company especially since she told me, straight up, that she would rather go to her friend's party. If I had had the chance to think about it and not to play the hurt child, I might have gone with her to the party but, as is, I told her, rather sulkingly, that I wuold rather go to the meet by myself then to the party with her. Now my spite comes back to haunt me... cuz true may it be that I am going to have a blast on top of the mountain, it's also true that I will end up cold and without plans well before her party ends. Ah pride!

Even indulgence can grow tedious. Just goes to show you can have too much of a good thing, with the exception of money.
You know how you know you can never have too much money? Cuz you would never use the term " too much money" unless someone else makes it or you have to pay it.

Yep. Well, i've gotten almost as far naturally- actually I just beat it the other day when I hit 9 days straight (then went to sleep for 2 days, from this past Sat. morning till Monday). I haven't counted the hours I was up yet, but probably will later on, just to keep track for next time. And it's good to feel great about your penis. Very psychologically healthy.
Ever seen those little figurines called 'homies' that come in those vending machine bubblecaps? I found a dope one on the curb today.
Got home and drilled a screw in it's head, now this old vato leaning on his cane is my keychain! woohoo. too tired to write blahblah, life's ok yadda yadda. One day I might give up on hiphop but I will never...

Well, I don't know how to feel about this. My ex-gf just sent me a really long, drawn-out, pathetic email. It's incredibly flattering and ultimately heartfelt but also kind of sad in the same respect. I mean I dumped her after trying to give her the message for god knows how long, so it's not like our relationship was at it's peak or anything, quite...

When I was younger I used to ask ppl whether they'd trade in all their memories and start life over provided they could be the ruler of the earth the next time around. Ruler might not be the best word. King would be more fitting because, as a child, you have this innocent conception of some omnipotent, care-free being of luxury, extravagance, and comfort when...
