Some things are so immensely beautiful that to even attempt to describe them is to undermine both them and yourself. There's a flipside to that coin, however. Every now and again I come across someone or something that is so vile, wretched, and repugnant that there's no need to even utter a word. As though any singular comment would only detract from the overwhelming rank of it/them.
Nietzche once said: if someone is forced to change their first opinion of you, they'll often hold it against you.
