Besides 'A year in the states on the cheap sounds like the greates balg ever' what other reasons do I have for wanting to take American Studies at Sussex? Any ideas? I need a paragraph on it soon and I'm stumped, I just thought it sounded cool when I picked it as one of my choices. I'm pretty sure that's not what they want to...

Enough of that patheticness, I don't think a paper cut, a bruised foot and a wanker sale rep are worth whinging about. I survived and I've been to college after a mad dash home, played football and everything is ok. I just had a major toys out of pram moment. There may have been a few words you shouldn't really use at work as well....

They are most certainly interested Sir! These are exciting times and I am erm... excited for you! And paper cuts can be reason enough for complaint. If it does not seem serious enough take salt and lemon juice to the wound and then resume toy throwing action whilst sitting comfortably in pram.

See my current blog for how I failed to initiate myself into the Intermediate stage of Ortus' stairway to liver failure.

Nah, whinging about the small things can help. smile

You;re right about Sussex; they wouldn't call you otherwise. More awesome news.

I seriously should have stayed in bed today, everything that could go wrong has gone wrong so far and I've still got 4 hours of work to go. Joy.

It started when I nearly fell down the steps on my way to work and bruised the bottom of my foot somehow. Since then there has been way to much contact with one of the reps...

All park football is off this weekend. Great. frown I may actually have to do my homework. whatever

Better news though I have a conditional offer from Glasgow! biggrin I am smug again biggrin It's not really where I want to go but it's still nice to be accepted (of course I'll pass my course, piece of piss) and know that this is all leading somehwere. Even if it's...

Enough wallowing in my retail therapy, time for a new post. (I played in my new boots tonight, they were lovely biggrin )

Only trouble is I haven't done anything. It has all been routine shit.

I think I'm keeping a mate in Glasgow sane though as she is completely skint and living of baked beans. Talking to me on MSN seems to be the the...

Although I don't play sports I walk everywhere so I feel for you on the weather front. Crossing my fingers and all that jazz.

Eat garlic to fend off nasty sniffles. You will be smelly but snot free. It's a small price to pay.
narshada:
Well done for Glasgow mate! w00t!

I'm so frustrated right now as the council has cancelled all park football this weekend. I was down to be playing Saturday and Sunday and my whole weekend was gearing up to it. Now it's off and I have no idea what to do with today. Yesterday we went to watch Crawley play Eastleigh (which was rubbish but never mind) but there's no football to...

Fun as it is to have a journal with 2 pages eeek of comments I think it is time for a new entry.

This week has finally felt like a new year. Last weekend felt like a good end to the old year and a good start to the new one. Combined with a full week back at work and college starting again I think my...

I'm trying to think of all of the highlights of the weekend just gone but to put them all in would probably break the internet. I will at least try to remember everyone who made it such a brilliant weekend, I was gutter I had to leave Bristol yesterday when there was still drinking to be done.

So I got to Bristol on Friday after...

I'm off to Bristol tonight for an SGUK meet. It seems like ages since I went to one but it was Edinburgh which wasn't that long ago. Time between meets goes so slowly.

Anyway it should be ace and I will report fully when I get back. Or once I recover if recovery time is needed (possible) wink

So it's 2008 and I've begun the year with a hangover. Just like last year really. I do think I'm allergic to sambuca though, not a pretty sight.

Last year was pretty good for lots of reasons.

1) Football club finished 2nd and got promoted.
2) Joined SGUK and met lots of ace people.
3) Went back to school

If 2008 is as good and...

It wasn't really a rescue shelter, but a crazy cat lady's home. She ran the whole thing out of her house, I counted at least a dozen cats and four dogs.
It's really admirable in many ways, but, wow, the smell was interesting. Seriously not enough air in there. You have to be a crazy cat lady to live like that.

Well Christmas was fun, there was a lot of drink and I kicked arse at Trivial Dispute biggrin

Boxing Day I got the cold that had been going round. I managed to get through that day being reasonably sober but yesterday I was a mess, all aches and random temperature changes. puke

I'm better today though, just a bit bunged up. It must be some sort of...

Blimey, I've not said anything here for a while. Not an awful lot has happened really. I'm pretty good at not getting stressed for Christmas and my whole family has a pretty relaxed attitude to the holidays. Basically as long as everyone is pissed and getting fat they are happy biggrin

On the getting pissed theme I've been in 3 different pubs in 3 nights now....
