The bass player with Zabrinski used to be in my classes in Uni (we purified DNA together! ), and they supported the Super Furry Animals in Edinburgh recently.

Finally, Arthur Q split up a couple of months ago as the singer is bored with playing. Arthur Q are unsigned, have no chance of a record deal, yet are the finest live band that I've EVER seen...and I was drinking with the guitarist and drummer earlier tonight, and no recorded stuff technically exists...most of the band don't even have copies! 'Muswell Hill' was written by Kenny the keyboard player I believe...I'll have to dig some photos out and upload them to my pics...

i'd just like to say i love the Zappa/Beefheart album. i've heard some good things about the reunited (minus Beefheart) Magic Band.

i haven't seen Enemy at the Gates. in fact it's been quite a while since i saw a "new" movie at all. i think the last movie i watched was The Deer Hunter. wait, that's not true, i picked up a used DVD of Resident Evil a few weeks ago.

Unless you can get some kind of pity grants or something I'd say study photography on your own. I can really only speak for what I've seen around my neck of the woods. Maybe they've got some serious world class photography class in the big VA. Honestly, I've been trying to be the penny pinching raining day cat for 4 years now and it's brought me nothing but regret. I feel better now that I drink everyday and spend like a Tsunami will cave it all in at any moment. weird, my friend was just telling me about Lightning Bolt. a two-piece in old wrestling masks...he said they sound surprisingly good in light of that. i think he's going to send me some. you're right, though, Tower should be ashamed for not stocking Husker Du. where would half of today's bands be without them?

i haven't read a hefty novel since Schrodinger's Cat by R. A. Wilson. i've been on nonfiction since then, with a couple breaks for "light" sci-fi and finally getting to A Confederacy of Dunces. i think i'll be due for a thick novel again soon, though.

I've only bid on something ONCE on e-bay and I won it. Little did I know I could buy the same poster on the actual Garbage site before it was remodeled. It's probably best that I stay away from bidding, I've been told it's addictive and now you are more proof.
