I was reading about City Lights Books in Publishers Weekly, too. Im really into the idea of going there someday. While Im neither an expert on poetry nor a great fan of the Beats, I appreciate what the Beats were doing, which was basically saving this country from the pits of 1950s conservatism which it is.sliding back into?....and the City Lights store has an entire section of Surrealism and Dadaism. Also, looking at upcoming events at the store, Im reminded that I need to read White Teeth by Zadie Smith.

Okay, so I saw a book of unusual names at work. I guess (sigh) Im left with the arduous task of typing some out for your amusement. Well they made me laugh, anywaythe project of compiling unusual real names became known as the John Q. Raspberry Collection after St Louis librarian Leland Hilligoss received a request for the phone number of John Q. Raspberry. I can imagine being Kidnorked Cinsoete and calling a pizza delivery guy: Thats two medium pizzas, thin crust, one with olives..Cinsoete, Kidnorked Cinsoete..what do you mean, how is it spelled??
