The Pain You Left Behind
Choking on the perfection,
Of your inner ignorance.
You tear away emotions,
You don't understand.
Black widow of darkness,
You've spun your web.
Sucking the life from,
My veins.
Leave me now,
Before you've desiccated,
My soul.
Merciless muse massacring,
Anyone in your path.
With your song so sweet,
It has cracked my skull.
Leaving only a faint trace,
Of a mangled memento,
Of the person I once was.
I pull at the roots you've laid,
But they are far too deep.
I find myself,
Surrendering to the serenity of my suffering,
Screaming silently to feel secure.
Pain is your addiction,
Why must you will it on,
Everyone near?
Doesn't it feel good to get that kind of stuff out of your system?
And that special person would be the lovely Elise. Lord I miss her!! I'll get to see her on Saturday though so I'm not so heart broken that I didn't get to see her today. Although I still am a little sad
