and YES, stridex works. i hate sounding like a commercial, but there are very few products in the world i actually have faith in... stridex pads were a godsend.

My roommates exgirlfriend, and friend of mine, is going to be at the convention to. Look for an arm covered with the painting "Starry Night" by Van Gogh, it really is nice. She told me it's entered in as a submission for design by the place she got it done at.

The Tongue-Piercing Story:

Hurt more than any of my other piercings. Some people it doesn't hurt so much at all, but I have a thick vascular structure on the underside and so it bled a lot too. So, I have TMJ problems as well, and if you have those kinds of problems, don't do it. It looked great on me, I loved it, it's a sexy thing too to be sure. But even with a tiny bar you'll artificially float your jaw, especially when you sleep, so if you have TMJ problems already it will drive you fucking insane. I had to take mine out after only a little more than a month because my jaw was locking Sigh, so it sounds like a horror story with me, but I remember it fondly for the most part.

Also, be prepared for about 10 days teaching yourself how to eat again. This may sound weird but it's true: when you eat you actually turn your tongue sideways almost every bite to push the food into your teeth. You don't really realize this until you got a big metal bar in there; you'll definitely understand the first time you chomp down on that motherfucker and wonder if you've cracked a tooth open or not!

But yes, tongues are cool. It takes a lot of commitment though, not an easy piercing to get, but way fun after about 2 weeks.

I successfully updated my journal today, though nothing fancy. I got a little thrown off by the new web design here to. Kind of blew my fucking mind really. And, it seems my ol' peice of shit computer won't let me even open the new format, so I'm forced to use friend's computers to update and browse now-isn't that nice.

Walmart is a nice place to see people from all walks of life. Fridays here in Sun Prairie, are officially 'Old people get to go out and shop day', and 'Old people get to practice driving their humungous cars day'-I tend to go to Walmart on Fridays, and I'm a witness to the parade of old people. I think I scare them though.

Yes, the peeling and itching is hellish isn't it? Glad to hear it turning out well thus far! I would say mine is as well, though it is hard to be completely sure whether or not I am going to end up with any light spots at this stage.

I think Simon might be offended by the implication that he has fleas though. *chuckle*
