Roy got mauled by a fucking tiger.
Wow. Shouldn't we all have seen that coming? When my mother told me about it initally I laughed. Now I'm not sure if it's quite as funny as I thought it was.
I'll probably have decided in a day or two, depending on whether or not he dies.
Looks like I started a big fight on the Starmen.net forum. God I hate junior-high school kids - which is why I left the goddamn forum in the first place. I should have known better than to make an "I am leaving" post that could have been at all misinterpreted.
I realize that makes no sense to any of you. But I'm pissed off about it. I'm trying to remember my new favorite motto: Arguing on the Internet is like being in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
I need to stop worrying about offending people. I think the real problem is that I'm not quite so sure about my own opinions, so I second-guess myself. That's okay. When I become Queen of The World, everyone who does not agree with me will be firebombed into tomorrow, anyway.
Actually, that's not true. They'll be quietly and discreetly poisoned.
You know what I was thinking about today? I don't understand people in this day and age who use the phrase "I keep my friends close and my enemies closer". My first boyfriend, who was bi-polar and otherwise crazy, used to say this. Does this even make any sense today? You know, people used to say that because they meant they were soon going to KILL their enemies, not because they meant they were going to keep being friends with the losers who embarassed them in front of the popular cheerleaders and sneer at them behind their backs because they are so afraid of being alone. God, I use a lot of run-on sentances when I'm tired. That's why I say I keep my friends at a comfortable distance so that they do not annoy the hell out of me and tell my enemies they can go fuck themselves. I think that's a much better way to live. Who wants to keep your enemies close? Unless you're going to discreetly poison them.
I made a Swanson TV dinner today and it totally sucked. Normally they're really good, but the vegetables were yucky - the peas were mushy and bruised; at least the carrots were okay - the mashed potatoes tasted and smelled strangely like cheese - and not in a good way - and the turkey was really dry somehow. And on the box it said "TRY THIS DINNER FREE" or whatever their new promotion is. You're DAMN right I want to try it free, because that is the variety I ALWAYS buy and it SUCKED. I feel cheated out of my three bucks. Damn you, Swanson. Damn you to hell. Is this how you treat your loyal customers?
And what kind of promotion is that, where they intice people who don't normally buy their dinners with "TRY ME FREE" stickers on sucky meals? Ugh. I'm thinking about this far too much.
I fucking hate little kids. I know I said this already but I really want to drive the point home. I hope to have a bunch of my own kids one day, but I cannot stand other people's children. I don't remember being an insolent little bastard when I was thirteen, but all day at work that is ALL I deal with. Insolent little bastards. This kid came up to me and snottily asked why there was signing in front of a bunch of Gamecubes that says 28.88 when they are 99 bucks. I patiently explained that the Gamecubes were on the shelf behind the signing because it is storage space - not display space - and that the sign for 28.88 was a referance to the display DIRECTLY BELOW THE SIGNING.
"Oh," he snotted back, "Well, it's REALLY confusing."
UGH. Makes me want to start busting heads. You know what's confusing?! The fact that your mother is letting you run around in here unsupervised! Wal-Mart Electronics is NOT a daycare, no matter how much everyone wants to believe it. Don't leave your snotty little punks to play video games while you go shopping. I'm so tired of hearing "WE'LL WAIT HERE FOR YOU, MOM!". NO! NO, you won't, you will GO with your parents and you will stand in Automotive with your father and by the bras with your mother and you will HATE every second of it, because EVERYONE should learn to hate shopping before they move out of their parents' house. I wish I'd learned to hate shopping when I was a kid, because now I like it and have no money to spend, so I feel like I'm really missing out on some great activity when all I'm missing out on is wasting my money on more crap I don't need.
Wow this entry is long. It's time for bed now.
