UGH what a long day.
I went to open Ceramics Lab today and worked on a dumb coil pot. Coil pots are so butt-ugly I feel very annoyed that I'm being forced to make one at all.
My internet is really bogged down right now for some reason. Nothing is loading. I think I need to reconnect it.
By the way, I'm thinking of getting my tongue pierced. Anyone have any tips/stories/advice/reasons I shouldn't?
I wish I had something interesting to report, but not a whole lot has been happening to me. Got an AB on my history test. Hooray! Got a D on my Ecology test. Boooo. That guy grades on a MEAN curve. I didn't get THAT many wrong.
I think, though, that the Eco. class is the only one I'll have trouble with this semester, and as long as I study for the rest of the tests (I didn't read a DAMN thing for the first one) I'll be all right.
Anyone know of any good P2P programs that are worth downloading? I deleted Kazaa. It was so full of ads it was starting to piss me off. I got Lavasoft's AdAware, and after I deleted Kazaa it found almost four hundred ad files on my hard drive. BASTARD, Kazaa. HOW DARE YOU, after I gave you a loving home?!
Oh, I put about twenty dollars worth of Halloween movies on Layaway. Did I say that last entry? I don't remember. Anyway, I got Night of The Living Dead (hooray! I was watching a bootleg version with no swears in it. How annoying), Stir of Echos, Halloween 2 and Friday The Thirteenth (the first and only good movie in that series, I might add). I bought 976-EVIL outright, and if you have never heard of that, it's worth looking into. Robert Englund, the fellow who played Freddy Kruger all those years, directed it. It's terrible, but still sort of disturbing in a few ways. Certainly worth the six bucks I paid for it.
Time to reconnect my stupid internet.

Hurt more than any of my other piercings. Some people it doesn't hurt so much at all, but I have a thick vascular structure on the underside and so it bled a lot too. So, I have TMJ problems as well, and if you have those kinds of problems, don't do it. It looked great on me, I loved it, it's a sexy thing too to be sure. But even with a tiny bar you'll artificially float your jaw, especially when you sleep, so if you have TMJ problems already it will drive you fucking insane. I had to take mine out after only a little more than a month because my jaw was locking
Also, be prepared for about 10 days teaching yourself how to eat again. This may sound weird but it's true: when you eat you actually turn your tongue sideways almost every bite to push the food into your teeth. You don't really realize this until you got a big metal bar in there; you'll definitely understand the first time you chomp down on that motherfucker and wonder if you've cracked a tooth open or not!
But yes, tongues are cool. It takes a lot of commitment though, not an easy piercing to get, but way fun after about 2 weeks.
