I am starting to feel really aware of the big decisions I'm going to have to make over the next few months. The problem is, the decisions I make wont just affect me, but Tom and Noah too. I can't just do what I want, I have to do what's best for us all. No pressure then...

So the big one is will I go back to work or not, and when will I go. If we decide I can be a stay at home mum it will mean that Tom will have to get a second job, or up his hours in this job, or get a whole new job with more pay, but we wouldn't need to think about childcare for Noah. If we decide I need to go back to work, we will need to start looking at daycare for Noah, and putting him on the waiting list. So then I will need to make sure I have found the best possible care for Noah...for a price we can afford.

I really hate the idea of having strangers look after my baby. He is my baby, my responsibility and I had him so that I could look after him. It doesn't seem right handing him over to someone else. It breaks my heart to think that someone else may see his 1st steps and hear his 1st words before his mummy. But on the other hand I need money to bring him up with the luxuries I would like him to have, and I need to work to provide that.
