Honestly, this redesign blows. So I'm gone for now. Maybe I'll be back one day, maybe not. Though I don't like the new site I have nothing but fond memories of this place and good things to say. Fisting, photoshoops, Hopezilla's, and Shit Food reviews. So many friends made and good times had on the boards that kinda don't exist now.

Some of those friends...

:( you’ll be missed, I understand and it was a pleasure hangin’ with you in this crazy little website.

Sorry to see you go, though I can't blame you.  Take it easy.

I have a tendency to tease people I like in ways that are lolriffic, but sometimes until people figure that out they think it's snark directed at them. That makes me sad, because I only put out the effort into being social at all with people I care about. And I'm a dick so it takes some talent to get into that spot.

I understand completely. After having a great time hanging out with a friend today when he was leaving he said "I had a great time, even though you are sometimes mean to me." I just stared at him for a while because I don't even see adult, good-natured teasing as mean.
adelina:
You're only mean to the ones you love.

I totes get it. Why waste your time on ppl that dont matter.

My resolution for my 34th year is to stop distancing those that want to be close. Instead I'll try to bring them closer, even if the thought of it is difficult due to past experiences. The past is the past and the future is the future.

yup - that was then and this is now

I'm guilty of that too. Hope it works out for you. Maybe I'll try to fix it in my 31st year.

I'm back from the gym. I started back after about a year and a half hiatus in which I gained back a good 40 pounds of the 140 I lost. I quit out of depression and icky feelings about myself due to the treatment of another. I'm over that though. It took awhile, yes, but one doesn't stitch together a broken heart that easily. Especially...

So I totally entered a meme contest that one of those wacky radio afternoon shows put on. And of course I won. Because I'm hilarious. That being said my prize is four tickets to go see Heart with the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience. Whatever that is. Not sure exactly how good the tickets are yet but I imagine they'll be pretty swanky since contests...

I'm tired of the branding of our existence. Coca-Cola brings you this, Bristol Myers Squibb brings you that. It's just everywhere and in all things. I find such things so tiring I want to scream. Or walk out on the present.

I too am very tired of the branding of our existence. But I'm trying not to let it get to me. It's a trend that's been building for some time, and I don't see it diminishing any time soon.

I knew things had gotten out of hand when I read that there were some TV commercials that had product placements in them. I can't remember the examples I read about, but I guess it's a real thing.

Sometimes I console myself by thinking of branding that's gone wrong, like Enron Field, the former name of the baseball stadium where the Houston Astros play.

at a glance i was worried... i was like...watch who beat off?! tongue but yeah, maybe when i'm ''good''

Ignorance is such great fodder for comedic spite.

Yes it is.
But then sometimes it makes people more entertaining.

I learned how to be funny because it creates obvious physical emotions and reactions. I seem to have difficulty interpreting the other ones. Just kinda figured that out.

2012 is gone. Dead. Expired. And never to return. That's ok, it's how time flows, forever in constant.

It was a tough year. Lots of financial scrambling and plugging of holes to keep the dam in check. Adult decisions were made, mostly in the form of less recreation and more penny pinching. No trip to LA trip, much to my chagrin. I need the experience...

I think that is when people get into trouble, when they stop assessing the situation. There are times for breaks. No doubt. But consideration is a great focal point.

I receivedthe gift certificate during the week; it was for a mere twenty five dollars, but in this year of my life it represented a fortune. It was money I didn't have to budget towards anything. I could literally spend it on anything within the large palace of commerce. I wandered aimlessly to and fro, procuring a few items included in my budget out of...
