*sigh* I miss Gia already. frown Guess that means we will never get to do our 2-girl set. *cries*.

I gots bored earlier. So I decided to trim my hair back into it's full hawk glory. I left the sides kinda long so I could easily spike them out. And so my mom won't fucking throw a fit about it. Speaking of my mom, she told me today she refuses to give me any money for my birthday because she doesn't want me getting my backpiece. mad I'm fucking 21 years old, it's my body, I have to live with what I put on it, not her... I've been designing this backpiece for 3 fucking years now. I know I want it. It's a tribute to my dad and my family members who passed away, and she doesn't fucking care. I wish I had a mother who didn't care about such trivial things. She started telling me how she's pissed off that I'm a failure and all this shit. Why? Because I have multiple tattoos and piercings. I'm so sick of her dealing me the failure card, cause I already know I suck as it is, I don't need her bringing it up all the time. I really miss my dad... at least he didn't treat me like shit.

Sid, all I can say, is be yourself, it is all you can be, the person who you really are is the most important. I know what it is like dealing with a mother who is a pain in the ass. your lucky in one respect though, yours is pretty tame, she might get down on you for wanting to be all tatooed and pierced but that is your perogative. Mine is 32 flavors of phsyco, she is in a religious cult. Yeah, so lots of fun there, I havent talked to her since I was 15.

you know and if you hant noticed, there are a ton of people around here at SG who like you just the way you are! biggrin

Why do I get the feeling that the more I get to know you and the more I read about your family life, the more it'll all end up with me just wanting to break your mother's jaw? (Siblings are supposed to annoy -- I will let that pass) But no mother should tell their child that she considers them a failure.

So, next time, remind her, "you raised me -- it all comes from somewhere." Vague but deafening in terms of the damnation it brings.

Oh, yeah -- if you ever hit it big, hook up with the Willy Wonka candy company (aka make a deal with Mars, Inc.) and design "Sidpops" on that hair. tongue It could be strawberry on top, lemon in the middle, and... a weird mix of flavors on the bottom, because I don't quite see one hair color there.
