Thank you very much. Ironically, the reason I am always trying to forget or make my birthday better is because my dad passed on my birthday from his EDS… it just hits me hard every year.

@trebor I sang mostly rock songs. I love female fronted metal bands so I was singing a lot of Lacuna Coil. Some obscure bands like Rasputina, especially their covers. I honestly must say I don’t miss singing in front of classes where you feel everyone is better than you and you are terrified to make mistake.

That's great, it must have been a rush to sing with a band going full tilt behind you. It's funny I actually am not familiar with Lacuna Coil but I do remember Rasputina. Did you listen to Pretty Girls Make Graves? Andrea was a powerful singer. I can sympathize with what you said about singing in front of classes (I studied classical music). Those situations always felt a little unnatural with the potential for a judgemental atmosphere. I've always felt performances should be about joy and sharing emotions with your audience. I think everyone feels a little self conscious about their own performances, I always try to encourage people to remember they sound better than they think they do. It takes a lot of courage to get up on a stage sometimes, it's great that you did that.

I’m doing okay. Very busy with the new kitten in my home. She’s a terror, but I love her. Also my birthday is coming up, which kind of depresses me and makes me withdraw a bit this time of year.

I’ve been sick and looking like pure shit lately. I keep having sinus issues and getting black eyes from the swelling. That and I just don’t want to put makeup on and I feel like I’m way too fat for my clothes these days.

Thank you. They were a pain in the ass to take care of. When my sister literally ripped one out of my back, I had to take the rest out. My body did not take to trying to heal just one, it started rejecting all of them. I miss them.

I just posted to your page, but I miss you lots! I’m playing too much animal crossing and forget to check emails and SG. Don’t know if you remember my friend Lucas who was from NH and used to come down to my place a lot. He was friends with Gia (who I still talk to daily)? He came out to visit about a month ago and help me get through boxes and such. The ex is still trying to screw up my life for no reason. I’m not the one who changed into a jerk, but he seems creepily obsessed with me, so much so that I’m in like some sort of witness protection program where he’s not supposed to know where I live, and I get some of my mail under another fake name. I have a restraining order against him still after he punched holes in the wall of the room he literally dumped my stuff into because he wanted the master bedroom. I’m considering getting my concealed carry permit. I also obviously need to buy a firearm, preferably small, so if you have any suggestions as to what I should be looking at, send me a message. I’ve been kind of stalking the local Bass Pro shop’s website to try to figure out what to get, but I don’t want to go in blind...

Any progress on the Colorado shoot-fest?  Also, am interested in getting certified (or whatever it is called) as a photographer.  Have been a professional shooter for over 20 years, and you indicated that Colorado needs photogs.  Any insights?

Aww, that's so sweet to say!  Thank you so much for your kind comment.  I've been having a hard time lately, and ironically, it's due to being/having been sexually harassed, assaulted, among other things.  I don't need it leaking into my online isolation chamber too.

I do also have a SpiderGwen cosplay, but right now, I am focusing on making a new Captain Marvel cosplay based on the costume she has on her on the statue Sideshow came out with early this year.  I also want to do an Angela cosplay (also Marvel) and possibly Hela with the headdress.  I also already have a Wasp with light up wings, and Ms Marvel (both old and new), Pink Lady Deadpool, and a latex X-Men unitard I used for a Pixie cosplay, but would work as Kitty Pryde.
