So sorry I’ve been lurking and not posting much. Those of you who follow me on Instagram probably have seen what’s going on, but I’ve stupidly neglected on updating here.
Long story short, things just kind of went down the drain on me over the last few months. There were more leaks and damage done to my apartment. My fridge hasn’t worked right in some time, yet my apartment management has been too busy switching managers and deciding that we’re not paying enough rent in a place they can’t seem to keep up the repairs on, that they’re asking us to leave one by one. I drew the short straw this month, and am moving at the end of the month. I’m okay with it. I hate this place.
I am staying in CO for now, but the awesome news is that I’m moving into an actual house! All 4 walls are not connected to anyone else’s, and I don’t have to worry about neighbors shaking photos off them with loud noises and ignorance! I’ve got a yard, a patio, a grill, a driveway, a washer and dryer, all that! I’m so excited!
It’s a tiny place, but it’s mine. I don’t care that it’s small. I’m just happy it’s a Victorian house in a nice area of town, and I’m close to just about everything I need! Plus my pets are going to enjoy it all…
Not to mention my favorite part is I’ll be close enough to get delivery from so many of my favorite restaurants, and be able to cook again due to having a larger kitchen!
Maybe I’ll have myself a lil virtual housewarming party? No gifts needed, just come hang out with me in a stream!
I’ll probably have a very small real life house warming with like 5 people on a random nice day in my new yard before Halloween hits.
I’ve missed you guys, but it’s been so super hectic! Almost over that hump though…
