Just a small update of my Comic Con antics before I make one major update next week. I'd do it sooner if I didn't have to entertain two teenaged boys this weekend -- which isn't a complaint. Plus, I'd really like to include stuff about seeing Guardians of the Galaxy, which is happening tomorrow night with the same people I went to San Diego Comic Con with.
This is most of the free stuff I brought home with me. I had to check an extra bag! The giant Iron Man thing in the back is a $300 1/6th scale statue that I won from the Marvel booth for dressing up as Ms. Marvel the last day, and I also won the Rocket Raccoon exclusive plush. Of course, I had already bought one, but I am keeping one to sleep with (yes, I sleep with a stuffed animal) and one to keep pristine and display.
I actually did that crazy getting in line the day before thing to see the Saturday panels in Hall H. It was worth it even though I didn't get to go on the exhibit floor at all that day. I mean, Stephen Colbert moderated The Hobbit panel.
