Went to the movies the other night, and discovered a Captain America 2 display. This happened:
I'm pretty sure the theater staff thought I was "special". I don't care. I've learned to embrace my nerd-ity in the past few years.
I got put on a new version of tramadol for my EDS, and it's helping tremendously. It's extended release, so I only need one pill a day instead of 6. I don't have to be caught without my meds if I'm out and it wears off ever again. If you or someone you know has to take tramadol too, I suggest you/they ask doctors if the new extended release one is good for you. It's like a miracle. I can finally, after years and years, wake up in the morning and not have to take pills and lay dormant for an hour or more until the meds kick in. I can get up and get moving faster than ever, and if this keeps up, I think I'm going to be able to actually be active again. It doesn't take all my pain away, but it's much better than it used to be.
Hopefully after a few more days of being on my new meds, I'll stop being a lump of nothing and actually do things to write about.
