Now that there's a calm over me, it's pretty surreal. Things are looking up, and it's an amazing feeling. Hopefully healing can begin and take over...
I'll always be a Bostonian in my heart.
Last night, Trevor and I were out and about. Walking into a pet store, an older man told me he liked my hair, then pointed to T and said, "Don't let your dad tell you otherwise!" Trevor and I stared at each other and informed the man that he was my husband, not my father. We're still confused to high hell about it.
Last week, we went to a local Irish pub, and I got eye fucked by 3 douchey soldiers. I say douchey because they kept playing stupid songs on the jukebox and announcing to the entire bar that they were the culprits. Then they were loudly discussing how our town was gross and going to hell because there are three gay bars here. (This town is home to crazy religious groups who give anti-gay protests and host camps that "cure" gays, so it isn't exactly tolerant). I'm sure those guys must get laid all the time by married women who just jump at the chance to leave their husbands for them.
On to brighter days now, I suppose!
