What are you supposed to do with a noisy and inconsiderate neighbor who shares a wall with you? My HOA doesn't seem to care to help, and the local police don't give two shits about a neighbor who makes noise. I mean, I get that the police have so many better and more pressing things to do, but the HOA tells me to complain to the police, and the police tell me to complain to the HOA.
I'm just really tired of hearing bass loud enough to shake my walls every afternoon. The worst part is he plays it from his car in the attached garage and is too dumb to realize that his car doesn't need to be running for the radio to work. So, essentially, I'm getting a healthy dose of exhaust fumes every single day. I wonder how much money he spends on gas every week.
I guess this guy doesn't think his neighbors deserve peace and quiet. I probably wouldn't have an issue with it if he'd turn the bass down or did this like once a week, but since it's EVERY SINGLE DAY, it's terribly annoying. There are so many times that I come downstairs in the morning, hear the music as soon as I get to the second landing, and just turn around and spend my entire day in my bedroom. Half my house is unusable during the day.
The thing that's super douchey is that this guy knows I'm disabled. He knows I can't work, and still is really inconsiderate. He only knows because he asked me why I "be messed up enough to use a cane" and what was wrong with me. Like it's his business because he lives next door to me. Personally, I think a man in his 40's should know that it's not tactful to ask a handicapped stranger what's wrong with them.
This is also the same guy who filed complaints about us because we had leaves in our koi pond when he moved in over the fall. And that our pond was drained (for the winter) and he thought looked bad as a result.
We were threatened with fines by our HOA over the complaint, but no one even comes by to see if he's been complying with the noise ordinances after we told the HOA multiple times he's a nuisance. But then again, we're the "freaks" in the neighborhood, so I guess that means we're not important enough for our needs to be met.
Sorry for the rant there. I just needed to get it out of my head. I feel a bit better because of it. I'd be 100%, if Mr. Asshole Neighbor would just SHUT OFF HIS SUBWOOFER!
Anyway, thanks to the kids who commented on the new set. It won't get bought, which is sad. I just wish SG were less political sometimes, less of a popularity contest, and less of a spamming match. I refuse to be spammy, and I refuse to pander for "votes"...
Oh well.

Admit you sparkle Sid! <3 My roses to die for had glitter around the edges. Couldn't take them on the plane so I dumped the glitter over everyone's heads right before we left... it was enough to coat everyone completely. Eric got patted down by airport security for setting off the metal detector because he sparked too much. Best moment EVER!
