So today can already considered all types of awful.
No one ever wants to wake up to a stranger in their apartment. Well, I did. I thought I was dreaming cause I heard someone screaming, "Hello?" and when I finally realized it was coming from my kitchen, I woke up and ran into said kitchen, but no one was there anymore. Instead, the trash bags that were behind the door, were now in the kitchen. The only reason they were behind the door in the first place is, we have to go back there and down the old, falling apart wood stairs to throw them in the dumpster out back. Well, at night, there are no fucking lights like there's supposed to be back there, so rather than die, we leave them there till morning. Now, I clearly remember deadbolting that door when I had to go fix the fuse last night, but someone must have unlocked it because Mr. Creepy came through our backdoor. See, I understand if you want to clear the door way, but come on, at least knock, don't just fucking walk into my apartment... and if you have to walk into my apartment, just to tell us something, fucking go around.
Bottomline is, how can I feel safe after that? How can I not freak out. I've been deadbolting all the doors we have since that moment. Normally I only use one lock on the front door. I'm using them all now.
After that, because I was woken up abruptly I was still pretty damn tired. So I locked the doors and went to go to sleep again, but the door buzzer kept ringing. Considering I was a little freaked out by some strange dude being in my kitchen, I didn't buzz them up. The bell rang like 4 times. So I walk downstairs, and there's a cleaning lady. So I explain to her to be careful around the doorbells because she kept buzzing mine. Of course she didn't understand a word I was saying, but she had some silver grillz, yo.
Then after that, I went to go back to sleep. I slept about an hour, and woke up choking. Yay for asthma! It's so humid out that just the fact I had my window open made it almost impossible for me to breathe.
My mother advised me to keep my airconditioner on all day. My electric bill is gonna suck.
Let's hope the rest of the day goes better.

spud_bliss:
you should tripwire your door with the ose shotshell flare traps. you'd scare the crap out of someone, and ... you may light the place on fire, but it'd be exciting
freakpirate:
Well shit. Apparently I'm exciting and no one told me.
