Dial-up internet is the devil. It's obsolete, and should be illegal. My sister and I have been begging my mother to get cable internet. She's stubborn.

My birthday is in 4 weeks and I have no plans for it. As usual, no one has stepped up to plan an event, and I swore that after last year, I would not plan my own birthday party ever again. It depresses me too much to do so, and there comes a point in everyone's life where they realize that doing certain things, such as being the only person to ever plan your birthday parties since you were old enough to, gets pathetic. Oh well. I guess my cat and I will have a damn good time in my room drinking and trying not to cry. Meh, whatever. It would have been nice to still have a boyfriend on my birthday. But we all know how that ended. *sigh* Boys suck, and I am in no condition to start another relationship so soon.

Anyway, almost done with The Da Vinci Code. Got less than 100 pages. I plan on finishing it within the next 24 hours.

I'm gonna go now. Sorry for the uninteresting update. I haven't left the house since last night. Blah. Good ol' Rhode Island.
