This morning I was woken up by the doorbell. Upon answering the door, I discovered a gigantic box being delivered to me. Alas, my CELLO has arrived!! I immediately opened the box and began setting it up. Upon doing so, I broke my A string.
So I replaced it with the extra A string that was supplied to me in my new cello's box and made a necklace out of the old A string. Then I skipped off to class (not really, my friend Erin drove me to class) and took a midterm which I'm sure I passed due to my "boyfriend" supplying me (and practically the rest of the class) with a study guide he made (I say "boyfriend" because he's my fake internet boyfriend. We have awesome conversations on the internet while sitting next to eachother in class... plus he would never date me
)
Anyway, after class I hopped on over to Newbury Comics to pick up the director's cut of Devil's Rejects. I watched it. Loved it, but besides the random blow job scene, couldn't remember that many differences. As I was watching it, I was tuning my cello, that's when I broke the second A string!
So here I am, with a cello that's missing an A string. I ordered 2 more from guitarcenter.com, but I probably have to wait a few days, and my school's store is closed till Monday, cause there is no school tomorrow, so grr... I dunno where else to find cello strings!
So I made the second broken string into a necklace as well. I also had one hell of a time trying to get my G string (please refrain from the jokes, or you will be placed on my ignore list for being fucking retared as shit) to tune to a G. It keeps wanting to be a D...
and I'm afraid that one will break too. Oh well.
I also got a copy of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory special edition DVD and the Aniversary edition of Edward Scissorhands. Yay!
Nothing else to report. Feeling better today. Hoping to get up early on my day off from school and work on some art, and probably straighten up my room some. Have a good one, kids!
