A little more than a week until I turn another year older.

June 13th. Never really a good day for me since my 19th birthday. That day, my father passed away, partially from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which I also have. I'm kind of scared of getting older, because that is one more year toward the inevitable... which really can be any day, but that's the reality for all life.

At least I'm waiting until the 15th to go...

@deadguitarist Aww, thanks.  I wish I could just get away from everybody and everything for my birthday, but I'm jumping out of a plane mid-flight strapped to someone I don't know 2 days after the dreaded day.  I was going to do it on my actual birthday, but 1) they had absolutely no time slots available on my birthday, which is odd, and 2) I'd probably slip out of the harness and die if I went on my birthday only because bad things happen on that day...  Although, my in-laws were like, "Why didn't you invite us!?"  I had no clue that a strict religious (Baptist), retired couple who are so Republican, they voted for Trump and personally know Sarah Palin from Alaska would ever want to sky dive!  It was surprising to say the least.  My mother just called me a fucking idiot.
