So yeah, I discovered tuition reimbrusment checks the hard way, long after I finished college. If I had known about it, I would have had enough money to pay for a semester with books, and still have enough to go shopping with. Oh well, Hindsight is 20/20, but I know how it is to be a refund check victim

am at uni in newcastle not any better here, we only goit a few problems tho, 2 of em even, both being 3 hour lectures, they kill your will to learn. hopefully getting sorted though soon.

least i am doing a mickey mouse course (easy one hopefully) computer games software engineering, we get told we have to play computer games, and are the only people in the uni allowed to play games on the uni computer s

Preach on, sister! Am I the only one who finds it ironic that there are those in the punk scene who are just as elitist and image-oriented as any preppy kid? Fuck what everyone else says, their opinions don't make them authorities on what is and isn't punk...they're just scared kids who can't deal with the complexities of anything beyond high school social stratification. That's their problem, not yours. You're a kick-ass gal and if a band gets in their way of seeing that, fuck 'em.

where I work, people are always like "ewwww good charlotte, they are not punk rock, they are just mass marketed and trying to make money" and I'm like, everyone in music wants to make money, otherwise cd's would be free.
I think GC write really good songs...I also think avril lavigne's new album is good, and people tease me for that. I don't really care. keeping up with what's 'cool' to like is exhausting. and not liking something 'cuz people say you shouldn't is as lame as only liking something because people say you should.
and the new album is great. I think they will have a career as long and as good as Green Day ( whom everyone also dismissed)
