You need something the opposite... a puzzle or a game might suffice but something with an actual beneficial outcome would be better. Sometimes I just like to clean house or mow the lawn (if I still had a lawn) or even just clean junk files off my laptop makes me feel better. But I don't know enough about your life to tell you specifically what needs to be done.
I helped my friend Nicole (who you know) move the other day. It was a lot of work and I was hot and dusty with some cuts and scratches, but after going home and taking a bath I felt good because I had accomplised something. Of course that feeling didn't last but for a while it was nice.
