School is awfully boring.

I keep telling myself, "this is the last year", but it doesn't seem to be helping. frown

Tomorrow's "advanced vocal techniques" class shouldn't be too hard. I think I'll like it.

My tummy's been feeling funny lately. Over the weekend I felt like alien was gonna pop out of my ovaries, now my tummy feels kinda awkward. Like random little aches and...

Hello everyone. Back from the tattoo convention! I had an amazing time!

On Friday got there before 2pm, and met the other girls. I had met all of them beforehand (alexsandria, fatality, bailey, poppy, fractal, bowie, and karma who showed up for a day), except for the wonderful Meow and staff member viquiv. I ended up performing...

Thank you so much for everything this weekend!

I'm surprised you and Lizard Man haven't run off together into the sunset yet.
theg:
Glad to hear that you had such a nice time at the convention!

Do you have any plans for another beer n burgers night anytime soon? I was thinking about the fact that I've missed every single one and that I really should go next time, but I don't know when that would be. No biggie, just curious about whether that might happen soon. smile

It's 6:30 in the am. I can't sleep anymore....

R.I.P. corset piercings. I had to remove them this morning. All the stresses of the past few months started to make them hate me after 3 years. I'm actually crying over my loss. For 3 years they were part of my body, and now I feel like I'm missing something I hold so dear. Well, I...

Sorry for the emo post. Things have been way too stressful for me lately.

I got back into Boston last night to discover my roommates took the opportunity of me being gone to move out and not pay me any money. Well, we're having a lawyer draft up letters to send home to their co-signers (parents) because their kids flaked on payments, so they're liable...

Certianly the apartment and moving woes are enough to get you down. I am having problems with that too, but they are actually WORSE than yours because I don't even have a place lined up and have to be outta here Friday. God, I hate Cambridge!

The other thing that might be bothering you, whether you know it or not, is a side effect of success on stage. When you're high up you worry about falling. When you're in the limelight it can change you, and there's nothing you can do about it. That's one of the reasons there's such a high suicide rate in entertainers. I didn't see the SG show in Providence so I have no idea how it went. Judging by reactions on here it seems to have been a success, but then again who knows what people REALLY think?

In my opinion, you probably need to do something that produces a concrete benefit. The problem with art, artists, and critics is that everything is so subjecting and you can easily start to doubt yourself. You need something the opposite... a puzzle or a game might suffice but something with an actual beneficial outcome would be better. Sometimes I just like to clean house or mow the lawn (if I still had a lawn) or even just clean junk files off my laptop makes me feel better. But I don't know enough about your life to tell you specifically what needs to be done.

I helped my friend Nicole (who you know) move the other day. It was a lot of work and I was hot and dusty with some cuts and scratches, but after going home and taking a bath I felt good because I had accomplised something. Of course that feeling didn't last but for a while it was nice.
brankauti:
Aw. *hugs* I think you are awesome. And you did great on Saturday night. smile I was so glad to see you! Sorry you can't make it Friday night, but maybe next time. I'll try and give more notice next time so everyone can make it.

I started to feel better after forcing myself to play DDR (Mario Mix... it's fuckin hard). tongue Dancing brings out a smile in me. I realized I haven't really danced in months. That's why I used to go out to the clubs, but then it ended up me going just to drink and sit in a corner and talk to friends. I really gotta start dancing...
