rin

i have had a wonderful long weekend. sure, it culminated today with getting dumped (again) but whatever, i'm pretending it was harder the first time. see, that's tough rin coming out. i like pretending like nothing bothers me. i'm crying just as much as last time though, only this time i expect no happy reprieve. i think i'm going to take some much-needed single time. i graduated 3 years ago, and since then, i have only been single for 8 months, and i have always had someone to fool around with or date casually in that time, so i need some rin time. find out what the hell i want to do with life, what i want in a person, create some fucking amazing poetry, songs and photos. i'm coming into a time that's entirely my own.

here and i strongly urge you to do so. we had such a wonderful weekend!! i love that girl to bits. we tried raw-fish sushi (a first for both of us) and some of it was really good. we drove around, made boys' hearts flutter, etc. we went to karaoke last night with lemonhead, ryan and jenine. lemonhead came up with me when i sang because it was my first time and i was soooo nervous. it was really sweet of him. we sang danke schoen!♥ it's funny, because lavonne's hubby was talking to his friend who was at karaoke and he heard us singing but didn't know who it was, just thought that it was cool someone picked danke schoen. that tickled me pink. but anyway, yesterday was a pretty perfect day. it's rosita's birthday, so you should all go wish her a happy day!!!

i cleaned my house a tonne today! it looks soooo much nier. and my kitty is sleeping peacefully stretched across an expanse of floor that has been newly cleared of books and scraps of poetry written on library due-date slips. i'm listening to old-school tegan and sara and i actually feel pretty good.
