i didn't want to update until i had photos of my new hair to update with. thanks to the lovely visha my hair is now a lot blonder than it was at this time last week.
here is me being emo.
today je9 and i went for a picnic and all these crows were talking to eachother about us and freaking us out.
here is me setting up a red and juanita photo op:
another reason i haven't been updating this thing is i've been travelling around the province. from april 24-26 i was in wetaskiwin for my little brother's 18th birthday and from april 28 until today, may 1, i was at staff training for the summer camp i'm volunteering at this summer.
i feel so fucking amazing. being at goldeye centre (where my camp is held) is so energizing. i feel completely prepared to deal with all the personal shit i've been pushing to the side and ignoring completely. i feel stronger. it's the safest place i've ever been. no one judges me and they just accept me with literally open arms. i have probably had more physical contact in the past four days than i've had in the 4 months previous. i couldn't wait to get home to my cat but let me tell you, if i was allowed to bring misty blue to camp with me i'd really never want to leave. i can't adequately express how much my experiences at goldeye have meant to me and how hugely they have shaped me as an individual.
sorry that i suck lately about returning comments on journals. i haven't been around much, but also i have felt so listless and like i have nothing worth writing. i will be a good sg friend again soon, you guys.
i'm so blessed to have the people in my life that i do. i just spend the last 2 hours bullshitting with manda who lives across the hall. talking to her really helps me clear my mind. she's such a wonderful and supportive friend.
i'm so at peace right now. ommmmmmmmmmmm.....
