thank you all for your condolances.

i've got to get back to life, now--tonight has taken my focus off death.

sanford is staying with me while my roommates are gone. it is so nice to have someone like a real roommate! i like mine well enough, but they are a couple and so i am definitely the third wheel, but in the few days s. has been staying here he feels like an honest-to-goodness friendroommate.

lavonne and michele came to visit me at work and we ended up going to the casino with my coworker eliese. eliese and michele each made about a hundred bucks between slots and roulette; i won about 10 bucks but spent it all, making my losses around 20; lavonne just plain lost everything!!

after that, we went to gerry's for a few hours of girl-talk. the big winners of the evening treated us. it was very nice.

travel plans may have changed yet again. i may be going backpacking in thailand for 10 days. i'm not sure...but to be traveling with someone i am so utterly fond of? it's worth it. it's just a lot of panicky stuff--i plan to leave, wherever it turns out i am going, on july 7. EEEEEEK!!!
