first of all, i was totally not expecting my set to go up so soon! i am very happy it did and i'm happy you all liked it so much. i know it is not the best set in the world but i had a nice time shooting it. i also like that my cat is in it, and that ♥so many people guessed where my back tattoo is from!♥ (the dark crystal, for those not in the know).
here is a picture of one of the earrings i made. the other one is pretty much the same thing. i like them a lot and have been doing quite a bit of fimo work these days! it is radtastic.
and here is a token picture of me laying on my favourite pillow in one of my favourite shirts.
i seriously have a girly boner for boybeaters. that is why i chose to wear one in my tag it set; i think i have 15 or so. i am not even joking.
i also now have my standard first aid certificate. gogo rin!!♥
also...hrm...i am working on putting my secret into motion. this is a bit of a giveaway but it involves me getting my passport!! to make things a bit murky again, i am not sure of my destination. i have two wildly different destinations in mind, and am not sure which i will pick. i want to travel in july so i will tell you in late june where i am headed.
tomorrow i am headed to my nearest dmv to get a non-driver's id. i had a learner's license for 5 years and it has since expired. six months ago. it is getting harder and harder to use my id, as the picture was taken when i was 15. i will post a photo of it later maybe.
last night a former-lover-turned-friend crashed at my house because he could not find a cab home. he called and woke me at 3am but we get along so i did not mind. we had a perfectly platonic sleep but i woke up every 2 hours, i swear.
burlesque practice is getting exciting!! the show is in six days. check out demonika's journal for more info. everyone in calgary should come down to the warehouse and watch my boobs get jiggled by another girl. it will be a good time, i swear.
i LOVE my teahouse job!! tonight we had a jam and me and my coworker totally slacked off work for like 2 hours. seriously. i got paid this evening for playing guitar to lead the jam! it was such a fun time. we convinced a bunch of customers to join in too. i love working at the teahouse, we were playing with poi and hula hoops and other fun stuff and having a jam and then we cleaned up REALLY early and headed to riley park for more fireplay and drum circle and whatnot. i am really lucky to have found a job where i can be friends with most of the people who work there. i felt like shit before i went to work and i feel soo good now that i have had my shift! it's kind of just like hanging out, hardly like work at all. today is day 13 of 17 straight, 19 if you include the fashion show on the weekend. i haven't even gotten my third job yet! if you know of anywhere great in calgary that is hiring, let me know!
i guess that should be all for now! whew!! i am going to try and reply to some people now...i wish i had the determination and time to reply to all the comments to my set, but that is impossible for me right now.
