i have been playing harvest moon for snes a ridiculous amount. i think it was five hours on friday...?
i got drunk phone calls from three people in a... Read More
today's post is all about our lovely friend lavonne.
she may seem harmless and even verging on nice at times, but in fact she is insane. she may invite you to stay at your house when you have no place to live and help carry your stuff up the elevator and feed you supper and let you use her wireless, but then she will... Read More
countdown: 14 shifts left at work! yay! though i think i am going to try to get a crappy job in the ol' hometown and not tell them i am moving, then quit. HAHA! three-week jobs!!
speaking of money...

now that i have had a few days to process everything: camp was awesome. it was so crazy dramatic (more than probably anything else i've gone through) but also completely rewarding.
i had a lot of nightmares while i was gone, though. some about moving and some about other stuff. the first night i was gone i was sharing a hotel-bed with my pal jeri... Read More
I'm thinking a black scarf. How long are scarfs usually? I'd like one that's a bit longer than usual. I'm not very picky, so could you let me know what you think? Maybe 5 feet? Is that about right?
Can you make scarfs two colours?
alright you guys, thank you for the assorted hugs/well wishes/hopes that i'd have more time to prepare than arthur dent. it looks like things are clearing up to a point which i can deal with them, and here goes:
i'm going to ship my stuff out to van at the end of august, couch surf(hopefully--i mean, i haven't formally asked any of my friends if... Read More
And by the way, I was evicted from a house with no more than 28 hours warning because it had been sold. Though it was a stressful expensive horrible experience, it did give me a nice swift kick in the ass and life eventually got better for me. I've had a few of those, and usually it ends up for the best. So I'd honestly just say accept the ass kicking and keep on truckin', hopefully things will turn out better for you as well.
I too fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and that's what caused me to move here recently, so I totally know how that feels.
my life has just got turned upside-down. my house is getting bulldozed much sooner than i expected and so i think i will be moving home for a month or two.
i don't have the money to move, nor are the arrangements in place for me to move to vancouver so soon. i know i will make it all work and stick... Read More
....so how hard do you think it'd be for a multi skilled aussie like me ( if I don't say s myself ) to get work over in your neck of the woods???? I'm thinking probably early to mid 2007......
I bet you looked too cute, cooking in a bathing suit!
you ladies would have the hottest house, once you live together...no much hotness for under one ruff!
Hope the wedding went well, I wanna see pictures <3
and now, a trip overview for your reading and viewing pleasure! this is a fricking epic entry. those who are faint of heart, turn back before it is too late! also, be warned that you will miss a lot of rad if you choose not to read it.
I got a non-bening cyst removed from my hand due to my previous broken finger accident ...
they only use local anesthesia and I was awake for the whole procedure ... the most uncomfortable part of the whole process was the anesthesiologist injecting the anesthesia into my hand because he had to make sure my hand was numb all the way .. so he keep pushing the needle deeper until my hand was numb enough for the operation ...
guys, this is so shoddy but i am updating without replying to comments. i'm sorry!! but i left everything until the last minute so i am scrambling and guess returning comments was the bottom of the list.
i think i've got everything else done, though my room isn't as clean as i'd like and i still have to do the dishes tomorrow. oh, and change... Read More
Hey Rin, how's the trip? I'm back home now and while I was really looking forward to getting back, I am now back at work and it's as if I never went away..... but I did apply for a canadian working visa yesterday. It may get rejected though because they require me to have access to a helluva lot more money then I have right now. But I'll work something out..... would you come hang out if I came over to live for a year or so?!?
PS, as soon as I'm done doing the mix tape for you I'll throw a package of weird and wonderful Chinese stuff your way.
Peace!
my trip to the west coast is in 3 sleeps. HOW IS TIME GOING SO QUICKLY?? it seems that there's never enough time for everything. that is the general theme of our short human lives, though, so i've got to stuff my days with the things that matters, like spending time with my family and cat and friends.
yeah, I know. I got lots going on right now that is on my mind, which results in lack of sleep, and who knows, maybe that's the reason for the EMO moment. I gotta figure out how to get back to posting positive entries.
Are you gonna be in Calgary the weekend after Thanksgiving? I'm gonna be there! Time for a run to the gourmet hot dog emporium?
hey hey!! Yup, china! The land of the looooong lunch. Of course that's not what most people associate with china but since I've been here that's all we've been doing. You see, my friend who I've come to visit works as a teacher in a school and the school take them out ALL THE TIME! It's quite fun, but they drink HEAPS! Beer and rice wine which ranges from 45% to 87% alcohol! It's been a little nasty in spots.....
There's really no tourism here so postcard is probably out of the question, but I would love to send you something.... send me a message with your address and I'll post you some cutesy chinesse thing.
I'll e-mail you my phone number!
Hope you're having fun with your bro. Take care!
Luke
