This new SG formatting is horrific.

Bye all!

cybele:
You hit the nail on the proverbial head, mon ami. As my most recent blog reflects, I'm outta here, as well. SG can kiss my disappearing backside. I shall catch up with you in other venues. xo

I'm going to the Opera in a tuxedo on Saturday. I'm looking forward to dressing on a level higher than "general slob" for once.

Yup, snow sucks! Let's throw it all in the ocean and be done with it.

I was about to complain because I have a cold on the first day of autumn. Then I found out that a non-immediate family member on my mom's side killed himself today. Perspective shows itself.

Yeah, I'm kind of like the proverbial "bad penny," I guess. (Albeit a penitent penny.)

Thanks for sending the re-friending.

Hope you're on the mend.
afterbirth:
Sorry about all that, Mike.

But you TOTALLY knew I haven't been a member for 2 years.
Fuckin liar.

that first pic is really awesome.

Hope you feel better. Sinuses that are not clear are hated with all the energy I have but there is nothing better than a boiling shower and Sinus Rinse that you hopefully still can find at any CVS. - that info is just in case you don't know.
I mean, if you are not available, who am I gonna annoy???
heatherann:
Glad to see you're no longer anonymous. smile

Oh, how I enjoy those times when I read a blog posting with unintended irony. I wanted to comment, but, really, what's the point?

I almost made it through the fall and winter without a sickness. Almost. It's slowly getting better. Unfortunately, my plans for the weekend had to be canceled, but, as we know, these things *do* happen. I certainly don't eat the same...

Bahaha! I'm totally sporadic here. I try to be better, but there is life to be lived. smile

Feeling back to normal?
jody:
I'm as surprised as you are! I didn't get to see the game tonight. We just listened to the radio at work.

I kinda can't wait for her to do a set. Nobody I know likes being naked more than Mira. It was kind of a natural fit.

How are you?
dmac:
Ok, yet ANOTHER reason I need to plan a visit up there some time in march. You guys around?

Earlier in the week, my boss, in front of a group of 7 people, in essence, suggested that I needed to lose weight. Sure, it sucked at the moment, but I'm using that instance as a source of inspiration,. Less of me in the new year, my friends...

Yet, I might actually make the effort to attend to this blog a bit more often. I...

Well played.

Sorry, dmac, I'm not seemingly capable of writing a particularly compelling blog entry regarding my weekend in Green Bay. Oh, sure, I can mention the abundant presence of the Upper Midwestern accent, the unique setting for professional sports that Green Bay presents, and the lovely fall weather experienced on Sunday afternoon, but I've become too lazy to festoon such writings with first-hand images.

I...

I am not sure if I am suppose to channel DMac on a response to your journal... In any case I hope you had a great time in midwest. I love the midwest in the Fall!
Remember when you would post hot naked chicks throughout your journal... ah, good times.

The volunteering on Saturday night went quite well. Almost always, I greet anything remotely close to socialising with a degree of anxiety yet, once it's done, I'm pleased that I made the effort. Remind me of this in the future.

I spent a good portion of my Sunday watching the Seattle Seahawks at Qwest Field. Sunny with a high of 56 is excellent weather for...

Sleep? Tisk, tisk, you should know by now that I don't know how to do that.

This evening, I will be volunteering for the local public radio station during its pledge drive. Of course, this will entail actually getting out of the house and I haven't done much towards that end so far.

A few weeks ago, I was able to see two burlesque shows in three days. One was set to the music of Led Zeppelin and the other involved the Rat City Rollergirls roller derby team. Both shows were terrific and, once again, just like Fear said, I love living in the city.

I'm going to Green Bay in mid-October. This actually excites me.

Holy Lambeau Leap, Batman!!! That's bound to be a fun trip.

You will be pleased to note that I now have the ENTIRE thanksgiving week off in vacation time as well as the last two weeks of 2009. And I STILL have 20 hours of vaykay to blow!
bedheadchicken:
reallly??

that's very odd.

and good to see you back here.
