I need some friends that don't spend all their time in pubs.

Last night, I was gonna wander down to Garlics to hang out with Arthur and Jeanette (he's on the wagon for a few weeks and she doesn't usually drink much), and I was going to sit around and have a nice sober chat with them.

But I walked in, and Josh was in...

My head hurts

All this partying is starting to catch up to me ... CreamyGoodness told me he was disappointed to see me slowing down already wink

I guess 3 straight weeks of partying til dawn is about my limit.

So yeah, I think no drinking tonight. I'll probably go down to Garlics to hang out and chat, but leave off on the booze. No big...

You're not the only one with a hurting head blackeyed

No recollection of sleeping in the St Moritz... well I made it home quite fast this time (I think).

hahaha reminds me of that time in a club with a outside terrace in the south of France, where I had pretty much started to sleep on a bench after way too many JD's. Apparently, I was a real bum, snoring & all that. I was in that club with a friend who started talking to 2 girls while I was asleep. Apparently, they were appalled by me and they were taking the piss, so he did too, pretending he didn't know me. A good plan if it wasn't for the fact that I woke up, saw him & got to his table & started talking utter bollocks. The girls left in about 5 minutes sharp.

He didn't get laid biggrin I didn't puke tongue

PS: good luck for you job thing!

Looks like I found a room in a flat in Camden Town, just around the corner from the tube station. It's a little more than I wanted to pay, but I gotta get out of the place I'm in now.

Nothing against the people I'm living with, they're perfectly alright, but the situation sucks -- I'm sleeping on the sofa in the living room, which...

Those kinds of crushes are my specialty. I keep thinking I won't get them anymore, but there always seems to be one.

That living situation sounds annoying. Let's you practice being Patient, Calm, and Serene, I guess.

sounds like fun, but a few days isnt too far away. id pay a bit more to get out of that situation

So I told myself that I was going to stop drinking all night once school started, and the Saturday was going to be my last big night out partying.

Then when I left school yesterday around 6.30, a handful of us wandered into a 'hood pub and had a couple pints.

After that I wandered into the Ship for a pint, ran into a friend...

I thought for a minute that I'd died and gone to New Orleans

The last thing I ever expected to hear outside my window in Finsbury Park, London, was a Dixieland band playing at 8.30am

That is, however, exactly what's going on right now.

And actually, they're not bad, so I'm just going to soak up this little slice of my South Louisiana heritage and...

I just re-read some stuff about my favorite chef, a guy here in London named Fergus Henderson.

Then I tracked down this neat interview with him.

Then I found this quote, which really shows the guy's personality: "If you're going to kill the animal it seems only polite to use the whole thing".

And then found this, even better, interview.

I'm all quivery; I...

Met up with a bunch of the SGUK people last night; they all ran off when the Ship was closing, but I was dumb enough to wander off to a couple other places that were open late ... my flatmate tells me I can into her work and stayed til almost 3am, but I don't even remember being there. Good times, I guess. Ho, ho.

Nothing too new to report ... just been partying, as usual; out most nights til 3-4am, more or less hammered. Need to get it out of my system before I start school a week from tomorrow.

Tomorrow I go down to school to collect my gear and find out my class schedule. This is good, as I can then look for work. Bar job I...

I've seen her every day since I got here.

The first time I was in the bar where she works (a couple months ago), I asked if she had any New York Dolls she could play. She played "Looking for a Kiss."

Right now, I just got home from having a few drinks with her after she got off work (we went to the place...
