As for crickets, your best bet would be to take a ten gallon, line the bottom with potting soil (make sure it has no fertilizer added) and give them places to hide.
I accidentally bred crickets in my water dragon's tank, back when I had one. I cleaned him one day and there were tons of baby crickets.
Also, males have two prongs on their butts and are the ones who chirp. The females have 3 prongs. (Two prongs, one egg tube). That way you can feed off males and keep females to breed

My sister and I were JUST talking last night about Muppet Family Christmas-->our mum had to face our wrath last year, she actually called me at work to apologize and tell me she'd accidentally taped over it! TAPED OVER IT! Stupid "Amazing Race." Gone are our Fraggles and their friendship pebble and the icy patch and maureen the mink and that turkey the cad and Sprocket and stupid Miss Piggy. Gone are all the Canadian Tire and CBC programming adverts from 1987. Gone is half of that creepy Toller Cranston Christmas special too. Remember that???
My sister has found it on ebay but there are "portions missing' however the hell that happens. And it's hell of expensive.
This Christmas it'll be so cold we'll freeze our winnebago!! (nobody EVER knows what I'm referrng to).
