Happy Earth Day, SG fam! 💚

A day late but every day is Earth day to me. Mother Earth is my first love & there is nothing that I care about more in this crazy world. My favorite place in nature to be is anywhere between the land & sea (or any body of water). That doesn't really surprise me considering I'm a sea-goat ♑.

One area comes to mind immediately, the Pacific Northwest and Washington State. I was just there back in January, but it already feels like too long. I miss it! I can only imagine what the Spring looks like on the Hurricane Ridge trail right now, & other parts of ONP.

Here are a couple of photos from June 2017 when I ventured into ONP for the first time. First photo was taken on Crescent Lake. Second photo was on the way up to the base Hurricane Ridge trail.

Humm, I went to Yosemite a couple years ago and that was pretty beautiful. I lucked out and went right after they reopened the park so there wasn't the huge crowds that would normally be there. That's like five hours away from me though so places that I visit more often are Muir Woods, Muir Beach and Samuel P Taylor state park. All three are about 30 minutes away so I visit those as often as I can. 😍😚🖤

I'd love to go back to Whidbey Island again, visit Fort Casey (state park), something I have fond memories of as a young pup. Also, the one place I really want to visit is Isle Royale, MI on Lake Superior. You have to take a ferry to get there, it's really isolated, offers the opportunity for some rugged camping.                                                                       https://www.nps.gov/isro/index.htm
